Lately I've been into using lighter coverage base products as an alternative to using a full coverage foundation on a daily basis. I was excited to try this product as BB Creams seem to fit the bill nicely in terms of working with the natural texture of the skin rather than covering it The product disperses out a tiny nozzle, white and slightly runny with darker granules or 'intelligent pigments' throughout. I'm not completely sold on the idea that these pigments adjust to your skin tone – I used the shade 'fair' and still found this slightly too orange. I found the texture really gritty and quite uncomfortable to use and because of this, had trouble blending the product evenly with my fingers. I found that you really have to rub this into your skin in order to blend it, but at the same time doing this seems to make the product ball up and go patchy. Once I got past the initial discomfort of applying it, the product did feel light on my skin, as if I wasn't wearing anything, and provided light coverage without sinking into or highlighting my pores This product is definitely matte, to the point where it felt completely dry on my skin and didn't provide much hydration. I have dry skin and prefer a more dewy finish. For someone with oily skin, this may potentially be a great product, but it didn't work for me.

This toner appears to be a somewhat basic a mixture of Avene's 'thermal spring water' and some glycerine. While I'm not sure that this toner provides any benefit to my skin, I find it really gentle and quite soothing - it does not add or cause any irritation. I love the scent of this toner which is fresh and soapy, and find it quite comforting to use on my skin and as an additional step in my routine.

This is a very concentrated cream as the name suggests and a little goes a long way. The texture is extremely thick and because of this I found it wasn't suitable to use as a hand cream as it takes a long time to sink in. I've been using it as a foot cream and found it moisturises my feet nicely, however is very slippery and turns sticky (socks are a must after applying!). It has slightly herbal 'green' scent which is not unpleasant but also not my preferred choice of fragrance.

I found this product quite drying as it is essentially an alcohol solution. It is recommended that you wait 24 hours after waxing to apply this product. From my understanding this is because it will sting and could cause irritation due to the high concentration of alcohol. <br><br>
In terms of minimising ingrown hairs, I didn't find it effective as ingrown hairs require moisture to break through the skin. This product contains both AHA (salicylic acid) and BHA (glycolic acid) which are effective ingredients for exfoliating both the surface of the skin and within the pore, however I think the product would be more effective if these ingredients were contained with a moisturising base. I found the texture quite sticky when applying.<br><br>

I used these pads with the 'wave' daily for about three weeks and found that while the product did not entirely get rid of my blackheads, they became fewer and less noticeable. I concentrated mainly on my nose and cheeks. The pads have a clean, fresh smell and made my skin feel tingly and smooth after use. Once the pads are attached to the wave it is easy to use with the press of a button, however I personally did not like the feel of using the wave on my face. I was given this product to trial and would probably not purchase it again as I cleanse my skin in the shower and found it a hassle not being able to store the cleansing pads in the shower as they would get wet. If the formulation of the cleansing pads was made into a liquid form I would probably purchase it as I found the pads non-drying and they did make my skin feel very clean.

Upon application this feels like a normal sunscreen – slightly greasy with a thick texture. After a few minutes however it soaks into the skin and leaves a powdery-feeling finish. I found that it made my skin smooth and because of this provided a great base for makeup. It did not ball up when I applied my foundation unlike sunscreens I have used in the past. As this sunscreen is not designed specifically for the face, I found that it was not really moisturising so I used rosehip oil underneath this which worked beautifully. A definite advantage of this sunscreen is that it contains both UVA protection against the skin-aging affects of the sun, and UVB protection against sunburn. The packaging is an easy to use squeeze tube. I would definitely purchase this product again to use as an all-over body sunscreen, but would be interested in buying the dry-touch face sunscreen to test out its moisturising properties. For reference I have normal-dry skin.

I'm always a little skeptical of products that claim to refine and firm the skin, amongst other miracles, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with Alpha-H Liquid Gold. I found that it helped to even out my skin tone and made my skin feel smoother overall . I bit the bullet and bought the 50ml size after trying a sample, although I usually ony buy more budget-priced products. I think this one will last quite a while as you only need a few drops and use it every second day. It does smell a little like Aquadere glue which might put some people off, however it's not overally strong. While not exactly a miracle product, it has definately improved the condition of my skin =)

I love any products containing oatmeal as it contains soothing and softening properties which benefit the skin. This bodywash leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised, and smells good enough to eat! I think this is a great option for Winter if you're like me and aren't dedicated enough to slather yourself with moisturiser from tip to toe in the freezing cold ;)

This is the best 'everything' moisturiser - I use it on my legs, feet, hands and occasionally my face. Smells divine and absorbs well so it's non greasy =)

I would describe this as a luxurious hand cream. For some reason the scent reminds me of soap and sunscreen :) It absorbs well but can sometimes be a little sticky, however this goes away eventually. Great to use before bed.
