I absolutely love this thing and think it's genius for travelling or just saving on space and money. I have fine, frizzy, curly hair so if I want to have perfected curls for an event, it is never as simple as just using a curling iron - I have to first straighten at least the sections of hair around my face. This can be used as a straightener or a curling wand. I found it really easy to change between the two by locking the straightener together and sliding the covers of the curling iron down. It has digital temperature and power settings which are also easy to use. The curling barrel is a really nice size for waves or ringlets, and it comes with a heat protective glove and attractive travel pouch.

This was my first time using an electric shaver/trimmer and I can't believe I waited so long after trialling this. It comes with a nose/ear trimmer, attachments to trim body hair, and a foil shaver. It was very easy to use and change the attachments. I am incredibly prone to ingrown hairs and shaving rash on my bikini line, and found that I had none from using the foil shaver. The battery lasts for a long time too - I have used it several times over two weeks and have not yet had to recharge it.

I get the impression that this hairdryer is marketed as an alternative and competitor to the Dyson. I have a Dyson hairdryer and this is not the same. The Dyson dries my hair much, much faster (even on the lowest heat), is much quieter, and has the weight distributed in the handle which makes it easier to use. However, this is still an excellent hairdryer and 23% of the price of a Dyson. I have fine, frizzy, coloured, curly hair and was able to easily blow dry it to a smooth, shiny finish which lasted all day. The heat settings and temperature control are excellent, and even the highest heat setting doesn't scorch my hair. The attachments all fit into an attractive travel bag and work very well. Overall, I'm really impressed.

This is one of my favourite shower gels. It smells amazing - a sweet, white floral, frangipani or honeysuckle scent with honey notes that is very similar to Chanel Beige. The scent doesn't linger on the skin very much when it's washed off but the entire bathroom smells amazing for hours, as another reviewer noted. I have sensitive skin and don't find this irritating or drying at all. Love that The Body Shop is cruelty free.

This has the classic Aveda Shampure scent which I love. For those who haven't tried it, it's an aromatherapy smell with notes of lavender, mint and citrus, but it also smells a little sweet to me. The candle is made from soy wax which I like, is cruelty free and didn't produce any smoke. My only complaint is that the jar is a little too wide for the size of the wick - it left a ring of wax around the outside that I had to push down so as not to waste any.

I've loved Paula's Choice products for years because I have temperamental, sensitive, combination skin with rosacea and a tendency towards acne, and all her products are fragrance free and unlikely to cause irritation. I also like her scientific approach to ingredients and stance against animal testing. This primer is sold as having SPF 30 in the US so I trust it to provide sufficient sun protection for daily use (note, it has not gone through Australian testing yet so it is only sold as SPF 15 here). I got this intending to use it as a chest and neck sunscreen because most sunscreens make my hair greasy and heavy wherever it touches the skin. It's silky and lightweight so it's great for that purpose. I usually stick to mineral sunscreens for my face because of my rosacea but this didn't irritate my skin or cause flushing. It's great for its intended use as a primer - it makes my makeup (Nars Sheer Glow) go on smoothly, slightly blurs pores and fine lines, and didn't cause any breakouts.

I have very fine, wavy hair and use this product to control broken or baby hairs, or when I've blow dried my hair and put in rollers for volume. It has a fine mist, is never sticky or crunchy and adds shine to the hair. It also smells beautiful - expensive smelling but it reminds me slightly of musk sticks. I would give this 5 stars but I've had other hairsprays that provide better control and volume while allowing hair to keep a natural finish - that said, most hairsprays smell awful and I'd choose this one over them just for the scent.

This is a fantastic dry shampoo. I was apprehensive about it being non-aerosol as I didn't get on with the Bumble and Bumble dry shampoo for that reason. The dispenser is great though and I found it easier than aerosols to control how much product comes out and where - just squeeze it and the product comes out in a puff. I found that it didn't leave too much powdery residue and, because I could apply less product, my hair was still shiny. I have a sensitive scalp and it hasn't irritated it. Best of all, it has my favourite Shampure fragrance.

I received a sample of this from the Aveda store so I can't comment on long term use. After one use, however, my very damaged, fine hair was super soft which is a miracle. It felt really thick, like a body butter, so I only applied it to the very ends - I think it would have the potential to weigh down my hair if I used more. I like the smell of it - to me it smells mostly of geranium. It's very expensive but I think I may have to splurge on it anyway - I love it.

I tried to dye my hair light at home which was a disaster - it became orange and I had to dye it several times to return it to a nice colour. After that, my hair was extremely damaged - so I need a lot from my conditioners. This conditioner provides my hair with moisture and makes it soft, but it doesn't weigh it down at all (and I have very fine hair). I don't particularly like the smell (to me it smells like rose, jasmine and patchouli), but it's not bad and it works so well I don't mind.
