I had the pleasure of trying out the Lady Jayne Salon Pro Scalp Brush as part of the best in beauty trial team. The brush is just down right luxurious. It has a lovely smooth wooden handle in a deep brown tone. The head of the brush is oval and has a cushion bed with metal bristles that have plastic balls on the end. I didnt have any issues in brushing my hair. It didnt appear to cause any tangles or pull on my hair. It is a great all round brush to have in your arsenal and just feels super expensive and sturdy. I would recommend getting this for an every day brush for yourself or your family. My kids didnt complain when I used this brush on their hair either, which can often happen to anything that is not designed to specifically detangle their hair. So this was a bonus!

I had the pleasure of trying the Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser as part of the trial team for the best in beauty. Unfortunately, during this trial my skin was playing up alot and so I was only able to use this product a couple of times as I had to revert back to my usual products to keep things simple as it healed. This was nothing against this product at all, I just didnt want to risk something new while my skin was being so annoying. The couple of times that I did use it, it smelt very fresh and clean. The packaing was very pleasant and looked nice amongst my other products. The product itself was quite fluid and runny. It blended in really quickly into the skin which was the only downside for myself personally, i did have to use two layers for it to feel like it moisturised to my level. I do like a thicker moisturiser that I can feel on my skin and feels nourishing. So this might be better for people who like a quick dry formula who have greasy skin perhaps. I feel this might be good for me to use during the day though under my makeup, so I once my skin heals, I will definitely keep using as I didnt react negatively to it, which can often happen.

I trialled the Du'it Tough Hands Fragrance Free hand cream as part of the trial team for the best in beauty. I have tried this little golden product in travel size in the past and loved it but this time I got to try it out in the full size and really dig my hands into it (so to speak). The packaing is huge which is great and the branding is very gender neutral so masculine people wont feel uncomfortable using this beauty product. The product itself is like a clear, gel with a silicon feel to it. You need the SMALLEST amount and it goes really far. The moisturising properties of this product are insane. I used it on my hands after a stint where I had to use sanitiser quite regularly over a couple of days which can be very drying and leaves my skin flakey usually and I had no issues this time. The product does take a little longer than the average moisturiser to soak in but this an intensive product so I wouldnt expect anything less. I can imagine this would be great to use on dry, cracked heels as well which i plan on tackling next. 100% will continue to buy.

I had the pleasure of trying out the Dermal Sensitive Skin Lotion as part of the best in beauty trial team. The bottle is a generous size comes with a pump top to easily disburse product. It distributes a good amount as well, not too much and not too little. The smell is very clean and fresh smelling. The product comes out white but then disappears as you rub it into the skin. It rubs in very easily and leaves a very soothing sheen to the skin but is not greasy in the slightest. It almost leave a silicon feeling to the skin, which i rather enjoyed. So this means it felt matte and looked matte in the light but very soft and supple. Its hard to explain but it meant that it felt very wearable and dried down quickly which will be handy in the hot months. I didnt react at all to the product and my skin continued to stay moisturised throughout the day. My kids loved it as well.

I tried the Dermal Lip Balm Enriched With PawPaw as part of the best in beauty trial team. The tube is cute and travel sized. Its easy to extract the product and has a slanted applicator to make the process super easy whilst on the run. The product itself is very creamy, smells pleasant and glides onto the lips. Very little is needed each time to effectively cover the lips. There is zero taste and the texture is very slick and soaks into the skin rather quickly but still leaves a glaze over the lips to protect them. It layered beautifully under neath lipstick as well, and didnt cause the colour to go transparent or anything terrible. This product left my lips thoroughly moisturised and I think that if it werent for this product I would of ended up with very dry lips over the last couple of weeks. This could be used in anywhere actually as a bit of a treatment, my daughter used it in on an ant bite at the park, and we had nothing else to use at the time, and it soothed to sting for a little bit.

I recieved the John Plunkett’s SuperBright Exfoliating Skin Brightener as part of the best in beauty box trial team. I was super excited to try this as I have always wanted to ty John Plunkett as I have super pigmented skin from acne, sun and pregnancy. Unfortunately during this trial, my skin was not in its best condition and i was breaking out pretty badly. I did try it 3 times during the trial as it says it use in 2 times a week but it was hard to get an overall feel for the procuct. So, from what I can tell so far, it comes in great, sturdy packaging. Its very cooling on the skin as well. It defintely is doing something to the skin as its starts tingling straight away, but in a way that I am familiar with from other peels. It felt like little bee stings all over the face, but bearable. I wiped it off after 15mins each time. I didnt have any major redness or anything, and I think my skin was brighter but to be honest, now that my skin is clearing up, I plan to use it more over the next month to see it properly in action and will update my review.

Natural Glow + Firming Daily Moisturiser - Fair to Medium is a gradual tanner. It claims to slowly tan the skin and moisturise the skin the process, along with out firming properties. I loved this product. The bottle is very large and easy to handle. It also has good appeal for the bathroom, not too obnoxious with branding. The product smells nice, kind of like typical tanning product but less obvious, which I like. It is very cooling on the skin, and soaks in very nicely. Not overly moisturising in itself but its good for a basic touch. It dries relatively quickly and the next day it your skin comes up in a beautiful glow. The colour is alot more obvious than other gradual tanners i have used. It also didnt transfer to any clothes. I did notice that when i wore tight socks and boots the next day, that it rubbed colour off on those areas. Not sure if that is my fault or the products, as I think most tan would prolly wear off in the same circumstances. I am excited to keep using over summer. Other big thing is I am typically allergic to tanning products, especially just after shaving, causing really itchy skin. Only one other brand has worked for me in the past. This has caused ZERO issues for me. Which i am super shocked about. So this is going to be a staple.

I was honoured to be apart of the trial team for the Eimele Metabolism Plus Coffee and high hopes for a hunger suppressing product. I was also very excited to try a product that claims to help boost my metabolism whilst getting in my morning coffee. Firstly, the packaging is gorgeous and looks quiet luxe sitting on my kitchen counter. It's a beautiful, sturdy navy blue and gold box. The lid slides down over the whole box, so the packaging is very streamlined. The coffee comes in individual sachets, keeping the product very fresh up until each serve is made. The coffee powder inside is super fine and is easily mixed with the hot water without any grittiness. Now, it's the taste that gets the highest points for me. The flavour is a nice smooth coffee taste with a hint of vanilla. It's absolutely delicious and my husband even tried it and raved about it. The product claims to boost metabolism & curb hunger. I did not find that it did this. I still felt very hungry by morning tea after having this coffee at around 7am. I was being pretty liberal with my diet during this trial but I did manage to maintain my weight. So this may have had a factor in this? I feel like I would need to continue the rest of my packet to have a good idea as 2 weeks isn't really long enough. I do like that I am getting extra vitamins and minerals in through my coffee though. Would I buy again? No, because at around $70 it isn't worth it to me. But I will happily finish the box off as it's so delicious! I guess if you calculate it out to be $2.70 per cup of coffee then it may justifiable but I'd need to see better results to do that.

I was so stoked to be able to try out the ProX by Olay Brightening Spot Essence Serum as part of the trial team. The product claims to fade spots and discolouration for brighter skin. The bottle is very classic looking. A medium size dropper bottle (bigger than your usual serum bottle) in an plastic opaque white. It has minimal text on the bottle apart from a classic label, giving an expensive and minimalistic. The serum itself is nice. It feels luxurious on the skin and it doesn't irritate. As with the essence water, it can sting a little if there is a pimple, but nothing uncomfortable. The serum dries down pretty quickly and feels very comfortable on the skin but you do need a moisturiser pretty soon after to seal it all in. As for the claims for fading the spots, it's too soon to notice a difference but I did notice that my skin appeared brighter than usual so I am looking forward to seeing what happens as I use it more.

I was very excited to be apart of the trial team for the ProX by Olay Brightening Repair Cream. The product claims to moisturise, brighten dull skin and help improve uneven skin tone. Firstly, the packaging is very expensive looking. Coming in a large round jar with a screw top lid. The jar is an opaque white with a simple dark text and very little extra detail. It looks very expensive and looks great sitting on the counter. However, that is where my gushing ends. The jar itself is frustrating to use. The lid removes easily but then you have to juggle a plastic sanitary seal/cap inside that you have to replace back on after each use. It's fiddly and the seal gets lost in the lid if you accidentally rest it in there. Then there's the unhygenic dipping of the fingers. The scent is much the same of the other products in the line, being like atypical medical based scent from dermatologist.... So luxurious but with active ingredients . If that makes sense. The product itself claims to be moisturising but I found it was more silicon feeling and it sat on top of my skin which was super irritating. My skin didn't react to it but it was more of a physical issue of it feeling annoying and "tickly" on my skin. I stopped using it during the trial as I hated the feeling of it.
