I went through 2 bottles of a neutrogena eye makeup remover that I loved, but started to get dry peeling skin on my eyes so changed to this. This remover was effective, gentle and inexpensive although sometimes takes a few swipes to get rid of yesterday's eyeliner. The dry skin has gone away since I switched to this.

I've yet to find a pencil that I haven't managed to fit into this sharpener. Great because it has a little cover that catches all the messy bits, and a little pick thing that you can use to pick out any bits that get stuck in it. Easy to empty out. Has stayed sharp for years.

I've had this brush for years too, great for spreading shadow over entire lid, but not good for precision work (e.g. along lash line). Once again this is lovely and soft and has kept it's shape and all it's bristles for years.

I have only ever used a manicare eyelash curler, I curl my lashes every day and find this to be very effective. The spare pads that come in the pack mean I can just swap over the old ones when they get a bit ratty, which means I haven't had to replace my curler in ages.

So cheap, so useful. I've always used manicare eyebrow/lash brushes as they are cheap and effective. Many other brands are $20 plus and these are so much cheaper and just fantastic. I use the soft and hard side to separate lashes after applying mascara. And also use both sides to tidy up eyebrows, I sometimes spray a little hairspray on the soft side and brush over brows to keep them in place. This is a great brush.

I have used manicare sea sponges since I was 15, they are the best, cheapest way to apply foundation. I use slightly damp and is brilliant at spreading a little product a long way for a natural looking finish. I just wash mine out with a little soapy water and leave to dry to keep clean. A fantastic product.

I feel like such a chick using these! But they make a huge difference to how my toenails turn out, especially those pesky two end toes that used to rub on eachother while I'm waiting for the polish to dry. These are soft and comfortable to use.

This is a pleasant smelling, thick consistency lip balm which is effective on very dry cracked lips, I find it too thick for every day wear under lipstick, but good for a night time treatment. Has a kind of vanilla scent. Only drawback is tub is messy, particularly as I have long fingernails I tend to find it hard to scoop out.

I am usually strictly a lipgloss girl, and had never used anything MAC but my makeup artist used all MAC cosmetics on my wedding day and I got this lipstick. It's a lovely moisturising texture, and after the lipstick wore off it left a slight stain of colour on my lips that meant although they were no longer shiny they had some colour. This lippy is a beautiful browny/purply mix of colour and looked great on my fairly pale skin. It really smells delicious too, a kind of cinnamon smell that is really pleasant. I've worn it quite often since my wedding.

I have quite pale, combination skin and use this powder in light/medium. I find this product looks thick and unnatural if applied with the applicator in the compact, but if applied lightly with a large brush works well. It does stay on well through the day, and gives a smooth finish.
