The box has a really nice design, it's very aesthetically appealing, has a very sleek, upmarket appeal. It comes in a glass bottle with an eye dropper to dispense and again its a very clean, high end looking brand. Its Australian made by Synergie formulations, its a lightweight facial oil thats plant based. Its promoted to reduce the appearance of fine lines, brighten and deeply moisturise the skin. I'm not a huge fan of products that state they will brighten skin because its too close to suggesting it might lighten skin, and I also feel its a bit of a wish washy kind if term. It goes on to day it restores, balances and protects skin from free radical damage which is certainly a tall claim. Only requiring 4 drops which easily covers ghe face and neck area. You can very strongly smell plants from this oil (of course) and its almost slightly herb like in its main scent profile. I quite like it but it is very strong and I imagine might be a little offputting for some. As the scent starrs to fade a little though jt becomes much closer to a rose like scent, much more subtle. It is extremely lightweight and absorbs easily into the skin easily. It definitely leaves the skin feeling super moisturised and really smooth. After a week my skin was just feeling incredibly soft. Given its made in Australia, completely plant based, not tested on animals, aesthetically it looks so nice and it leaves my skin feeling amazing. Definitely recommend

Light pink in shade, it doesn't appear to be fragranced wich is nice. Although it has a screw cap lid unfortunately, which means its probably not very airtight and I expect most of the product will evaporate before I have the chance to use it. It states its 100H auto replenishing hydrator, even after washing your face, which seems a bit ridiculous. It has aloe vera which I'm a big fan of, as its quite a soothing ingredient. The box suggests it helps skin continuously rehydrate itself which I quite doubt. Also suggests that you can use it under or over makeup or as a 5 minute mask. Which makes almost no sense, why you would use it as a 5 minute mask as opposed to just applying it is beyond me. But if you believe it, I'm sure it'll work and auto hydrate your skin even more than it already was. The gel-cream itself is very light and absorbs into my skin fairly easily, it doesn't interact with my primer at all which is good. I did notice my pores getting a little more blocked when I got sweaty working out and had this on, so maybe not the best product for those high heat or sweat occasions.

I like the box and design, it feels quite fresh and in tune with trends. It's quite a small cap lid squeezy tube, however a little goes a very long way and I bedded probably less than a 5 cent piece. I like that its a SPF 50+ as I think that's becoming ever necessary these days! It's quite a thick cream and suggests to apply after moisturiser, which I'm not too sure about, I tend toward oily skin and feel that would cause me to break out in the long run.. It does feel somewhat oily at first but within a few minutes it seems to have evened out quite a bit on that front and my skin no longer feels oily, and its absorbed relatively well. It does actually feel much like a layer of protection on my skin though. A sensation I don't usually get from SPF moisturisers. It seemed to mesh alright with my primer, although I did leave a little bit more time between applications than I usually would have. I'm not sure if it clashed with one of the facial oils but less time in between in addition to a facial oil and it all didn't meld too well but it wasn't the worst I've ever experienced abd was still totally salvageable. For an SPF 50+ I rate this very highly. Its paraben, sulfate, phalate, silicone and chemical free which is nothing short of amazing. It feels like it would last even through some light water. And they make an excellent point "created in Australia - the toughest place to get sunscreen approved".

Scientifically proven to strength nails by up to 89%, leaves me wondering what the average percentage actually was. Good timing, my nails could use a bit of assist. I don't have any issues with weak nails however the dry edges and ridging have started appearing and its been starting to annoy me It is a slight pain to remember to use a coat every day for 5 days and that does mean that you shouldn't be using any other nail polish during this time which could be a problem for some. The box claims it's an 8 in 1 product, one of which is it being a base coat and one a top coat - in theory its only a top coat to itself otherwise its not really going to provide your nail any benefits in and of itself as a top coat to other nail polish, and if using as directed then it technically should only be a base coat to itself as well, although again in theory, its going to be better off as a bottom coat to other nail polish. On day 2, I don't know if I'm just being optimistic or if my nails do look a little nicer already. It could just be the shiny-ness thats giving them a fresh appearance of course. By day 4 and 5 it became apparent that I was applying it way too thickly. I had a very thick coating and it wasn't really drying before I would mess up the top coat. All in all it's a good product and I'm pretty happy with the results. I'm not sure it made all of its claims but my nails are probably healthier for using it all the same.

Lio shimmer with peppermint oil. It shows peony under this on the label which I take to be the colour. It states 100% natural origin which the interpretation of this means the ingredients are natural? It's made in the USA with global ingredients which is interesting. The colour is actually quite nice, not dissimilar from another lip shimmer I actually use which is a bonus! The scent of peppermint is strong as soon as I opened this, which creates a very noticeable tingle on the lips. Some may not enjoy this. It comes in a tube with the twist mechanism at the base and if I'm honest, the design could have been improved upon somewhat. The tube is similar in colour to the product except for the twist mechanism base which is a dark brown and is hollow at the base. I'm conscious of the fact that burts bees isn't, nor is it trying to be, a high end product and that they are far more focused on natural ingredients. But I feel the design could still be improved upon. It feels very pre teen in its aesthetics. The style of shimmer achieved promotes this feeling a little further, its not terribly subtle. Potentially the peppermint oil has the added effect of giving the lips a slight plumping affect - whether that is of benefit or not is dependent on the individual. For anyone with sensitive lips (or perhaps just doesn't enjoy having a burning sensation on the lips) this would probably be one to avoid. But for everyone else this is a reasonably priced lip balm that will moisturise (maybe give a very slight plumping effect) and a bonus fresh peppermint scent in a colour that largely mimics much more expensive brands of a similar product, it's good option.

First thoughts - the box is huge and completely unnecessary for the product size (and if just at a glance a bit deceptive also) given its made out of plastic (both the box and pen dispenser), it just isn't warranted and is just a whole lot of waste. A 'blurring eye cream to instantly target fine lines, puffiness and dark circles' we're essentially talking about a kind of light concealer really. And the product is tinted which is where you get the blurring concept from. Although I will say it doesn't apply obviously tinted (and/although I am relatively fair skinned). On the side of the box it says that a range of skin brighteners has been created. I'm not sure how I feel about skin brighteners. It seems to akin to skin whiteners which should just not be a thing. How you can make skin look brighter is a bit lost on me. Plumper, more smooth, tighter - these make sense to me. But brighter just seems a bit of a buzz word in this space. The dispensing pen itself does having a very simple yet clever and effective locking mechanism, preventing the base button from being being depressed to release any product.. The directions state "gently dab around the orbital contour".... Which seems a little unnecessary in its choice of language. I mean..orbital? Really? As for the product itself, it spreads out pretty thin right off the bat. I can't say I noticed any improvement regarding my dark circles (but who knows, maybe they could have been looking far better than had I not been using this product) although it does also state it will 'visibly smooth dark circles' which is not the crux of the dark circle issue, so not sure what thats about. It feels quite smooth but its far from a favourite eye cream and there are a lot of detractors for me. Primary is the plastic box it comes in which is like 3 times the necessary size of the product. They could really do better on that one.

'Feels like serumdipity' is written on the inside of the boxes lid, and im immediately taken with this product. I'm all for some good word play. An AHA resurfacing serum for all skin types, I like its got hylauronic acid and aloe vera in the mix. The box it comes in is quite visually appealing, I like the colouring and text layout, its easy to read and I find myself flicking the box around the peruse each side which is not something that I always feel inclined to do. I love that it comes in a glass vial bottle, with a glass eye dropper. They are so much more airtight than their plastic counterparts meaning you don't lose a whole lot of product merely through it evaporating over time and it also means the ingredients won't be destabilised as readily, making it last longer, not to mention it makes it far more environmentally friendly. Not nearly enough brands are making significant moves to more environmentally friendly packaging so I'm a huge fan of any brands that do. A little of this product goes a very very long way with just two and a half drops easily covering my entire face and neck. It absorbs into the skin super quickly, which is always preferred and leaves my skin very much feeling smoother, not dissimilar to having applied a silicone primer just sans the residue. I also notice my skin feels a bit softer of an evening after applying it. It is fragranced, however the box states it is certified natural ingredients which is great. So it definitely seems to be living up to its claims of exfoliating and hydrating the skin, leaving it feeling smoother and softer. For the packaging and certified ingredients alone its a bit of a winner but level that out with actually living up to their claims and it is definitely a winning product.

Luckily enough I had half chipped nail polish to test this on! I was somewhat confused initially. First thoughts are this is seemingly far more environmentally friendly than using a bunch of makeup pads, its also more time effective (depending perhaps on how thick/layers of nail Polish you happen tp have on). The bottle is around 8cm in height and you unscrew a cap to reveal a sponge inside with a cut space in the centre, twisting your finger around to remove the nail polish. Ideally the cap should really be airtight or this won't last as long as it could. Although I do have some doubts a found how long the sponge is going to last sitting in any amount of nail polish remover. It smells quite nice. It states on the bottle that it is acetone free although the first ingredient is ethyl acetate so not sure there is a huge difference there.. Also states it has jojoba oil and vitamin E to promote healthy nails and yeah, not sure that's going to do a whole lot. But it was fairly quick, for the nail polish I had remaining and was far less tedious than soaking a dozen makeup pads and getting it all over my hands! The brand could probably do with a bit of a revamp, personally I think its starting to age a bit. The bottle itself is fairly boring and that off pink colour and blue font isn't the most aesthetically appealing. But the product itself is a great idea for a somewhat annoying and tedious activity.

I bought this fairly recently and I'll be honest, my hairs been in pretty bad shape from a lack of hairdressing appointments, stress and excessive washing (I work out just about everyday and have to wash it I get all sweaty or it aggravates my skin), which just strips all natural oils.. A miracle? Not quite.. my hair might be too far gone for this to say it. I haven't found it to detangle at all if I'm honest and while it does absorb fairly quickly it usually just feels like It sort of weighs down my hair rather than being absorbed by it or actually smoothing out the cuticle at all. I don't find the smell of it unpleasant but I also don't find it expressly pleasant either, its pretty much a non event which I guess is good, its not chock full of fragrances. While its not excessive in its price range, it hasn't wowed me enough to say it warrants an over $20 price tag. But perhaps its just me and my hair as there seem to be many people who think its pretty good here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Advanced night eye repair supercharged complex synchronised recovery. One heck of a mouthful. Also told to use day and night which is in contradiction to the title. According to the packaging it has been proven to reveal bright, hydrated visibly revived eyes. I'm always a bit miffed by the bright eyes suggestion - just because we get "dark circles" doesn't mean a product that may reduce this effect therefore gives us bright eyes. One of those it doesn't mean the literal opposite things IMO. "Significantly reduces the look of every key sign of eye ageing" - Doesn't reduce the ageing mind you, just the look. If we could get a definition of what is considered key signs and what is significant. "Multi action, anti pollution defence technology" makes it sound like a transformer. Sounds amazing. And fictional. But amazing. Even the back of the packet it says use AM & PM. Why did they call it a night cream then? In a nice little pale blue box, it feels fairly weighted. Upon opening it comes with a rather thick but neatly folded instructions sheet (mostly thickness is due to the multitudes of languages that are printed). The container is quite small with a gold screw top lid and glass base. The product itself seems to be in a very very small little circular area in the middle of the glass base, with probably just under a cm of space between it and the outer edge of the jar. Not awe inspiring. Once again much packaging for very little product. Although it does go a fair way. Reading the in box instructions and lack of sleep, stress etc has a result of "skin looks "out of sync"". Always makes me think of n'sync. It goes on to suggest that they're "revolutionary anti aging...technology helps support skin's own natural re-syncronisation and renewal process". Yeah skin does not resynchronise. Not sure about that one. It then says its brightens dark circles in 3 weeks. I'm not a big fan of anything that says brightens. It's far too much like "lightens" because brightening skin isn't actually a thing... Arguably you can only really minimise dark circles by increasing the amount of collagen in the eye trough. Which is unlikely going to be achieved with an external product. But I'm prepared to give it the benefit of the doubt. Focusing in on the actual product now. It's very silky and smooth, so I assume there's some amount of silicone in there. I would say use sparingly, or it can take a bit to dry. And given that despite being a night cream, its supposed to be used in the morning as well, quick dry is what you want. It mentions mixing it in with your foundation as well before application, not sure about that one and probably depends a lot on which kind of foundation you're using. For me, if I did this, or even if I applied foundation on and this wasn't properly dry yet, I found foundation would settle into the eyes and was only enhanced once powder set. I will admit that despite some nights where I was shortchanged quite a bit of sleep around Christmas, I wasn't looking puffy eyed and dead tired, I still pulled off a fairly normal looking morning me. And this product could have helped in achieving that. One thing that did bother me was it stung pretty brutally if you got it in your eye, which happened once or twice. I personally don't think a product that goes around the eye should have ingredients in it that cause your eye to sting and go bright red if you get some seeping into the edge of your eyeline. All in all, it seems to be quite a good product. Although not hands down amazing and it does have some detracting features. For the price, it's a very small amount of product though you should find it lasts you if not being over applied. I think they need to clear up the night cream to applied morning and evening bit though.
