It’s been a while since I’ve been balayaged. You may think it silly that I struggle to utter that sentence, but I have to say, since going singular with my hair colour, I feel a little sad. Being ombré-d was my thing, but alas, my desire to shake things up had me reaching for the hair dye – and my chocolate strands just left me feeling, well… a little flat.

When I trotted off to get my tresses tended to last week, I didn’t really realise what I was in for. Knowing it was more than just a run-of-the-mill gloss treatment, I have to admit that when I stepped through the doors of the Toni & Guy Paddington salon I didn’t know that my life (and my hair) would never be the same.
Cadburys chocolate brown locks were the order of the day – and I was excited. Fast-forward one hour and I am blown away. I was left with the most luscious-looking mop of drool-worthy chocolate strands that I’ve ever seen. Not only that, my hair feels so healthy. I honestly never would have thought that single-hued hair could look this good. The comments from staff in the salon and my friends and family confirmed it. So, how did they do it?
