It’s official. Sydney-siders can now enjoy a spray tan, facial, massage, wax, tint, and head of foils. Although we’ve all (almost) mastered the art of every at-home beauty treatment, now is the time to hang up our stand-in beautician coats and let the professionals do their thing.
But, don’t leave the house just yet. With an estimated five million people residing in Sydney, you’re not getting anywhere without an appointment.
So to remove the step of umming and ahhing over where to go, we’ve compiled a list of our favourite beauty salons in Sydney to keep on your speed dial and book into NOW!
1. Mesa
Mesa is the newest wellness house to hit the Northern Beaches. A spa for all the tightly wound post-lockdown bodies, Mesa offers infrared sauna sessions, massages and facials.
2/32 Lawrence Street, Freshwater
2. Beach St Tanning
If you think we’re entering the Sydney summer with anything less than a tropical island glow, you’re kidding yourself. Offering customised tans tailored to your skin type, tone and personal preference, Beach St will give you a head-to-toe glow in all of 15 minutes. For those with brows that are in bad shape, we recommend visiting Giulz for a wax, tint and shape.
378 Oxford Street, Paddington
3. Venustus
…. And while you’re in the area, be sure to treat yourself to a Venustus treatment while you’re there. They aren’t exactly cheap, but the experience is well worth it. Venustus offers one-of-a-kind treatments for physical, emotional, or spiritual ailments you didn’t even know you had. Think crystals and smudging – you won’t find a treatment quite like it anywhere else.
381 Oxford St, Paddington
4. Skinsational
Book into Skinsational for, well, everything. You can indulge in a range of treatments from facials to cosmetic injectables, waxing, tanning, tinting and manicures, to make up for all of the pampering you missed during the past four months. In fact, why not treat yourself to the Spoilt Rotten Package? A three-hour experience that includes a massage, exfoliation, facial treatment and more.
109 Pittwater Rd, Hunters Hill
5. The Parlour Room
Step into Clovelly’s leading beauty spot and you will never want to leave. For a pampering experience, book into TPR for spray tans, manicures and the like. Or, if you’re after more of a skin-focused treatment, treat yourself to a facial at The Parlour Room’s Self.
216 Clovelly Rd, Randwick
6. Infinity Skin
The Infinity Skin Clinic specialises in the latest skin care and aesthetic treatments and is renowned for their injectables, anti-wrinkle treatments and laser resurfacing to treat sun spots, acne scarring and wrinkles.
Level 1, 357 Military Road, Mosman

Which Sydney salon is your favourite? What treatment are you most looking forward to?
Enjoy Sydneysiders.
Yes very Sydney-centric.
Nice lineup of beauty salons!
As a Melbournian, I’m a little jelly!
None atm. Keeping my $ for something I will need soon.
I’m not in Sydney but now I’m dreaming of a Spa day 🧖🏻♀️
Yes please (followed by a hot springs stint)!
Ah spaa, yes please
Lucky Sydneysiders!! Go spoil yourselves! I’m in Melbourne and a facial and hair appointment is on my post lockdown bucket list 🙏
Yay! I need a haircut asap
Same here!
So luxurious. I’d love to treat myself for Christmas.
It’s good to see that radio frequency is useful! I’ve bought my own hand-held home device in RF recently and it’s convenient to use at home especially with this corona environment still happening and worsening where I live actually. I won’t be visiting any public ones just yet!
You can buy home devices for RF treatments? I learn a new thing every day in this community!
I bought the Skin02 one – it’s small and easy to target areas like around the eyes because it’s in the form of a ‘pen’
what does the RF device do?
It claims to be helpful with anti-aging stuff
Bet it’s not that easy to get a beauty or hairdressing booking in Sydney at the moment.
A salon treatment sounds so good!
I would SO love to get a facial! I’m a double-vaxxed Sydneysider, but I’m still not game to venture out much.
We are still going out masked up here in Melbs!
Looks like some amazing salons!
Can you please do a spotlight on other capital cities pretty please?
I need a pampering session.
yes please !!
We need an article like this for all the capital cities!
I want to go to all of these places!
I like the sound of the Infinity Room, pity it is on the other side of town from me
sounds fantastic
I like the sound of the Infinity Room. It’s a shame I live nowhere near it.
Venustus looks so relaxing!
Amazing post. Really latest technology. Thanks for sharing this post.
I would love to have a massage but am worried they hurt my back as I have an ongoing problem with my back.
Bet these are expensive. I wonder if these will all go down in use post people doing their own treatments and not being able to afford anymore
I would love to try all of these
