Xtina, what’s going on girl?

Xtina, what’s going on girl?

She may be a phenomenal singer, mum to one cute bub, and a feministic idol to women all over the world – but Christina Aguilera could sure use some fine-tuning when it comes to her beauty prowess…

But instead of shooting her down, why don’t we give her a few pointers to consider the next time this diva hits the red carpet…

Match your make-up properly. You can tell from the shade of her scalp that her foundation is more Tandoori chicken than terrific – it just doesn’t look natural. To avoid this foundation faux-pas, choose a foundation that will match your skin tone, like Revlon Beyond Natural Skin Matching Makeup.

Opt for a more natural-looking hair hue. The platinum blonde looks a little false, and the whole mane looks as though it could be made up entirely of hair extensions. Don’t get us wrong, they’re fine to wear, but they’re not supposed to look like hair extensions! Try: Hairvenly Extensions in Hairvenly – Ash Blonde.

Your brows could do with a groom. With all that make-up, Christina’s brows look a little lost amidst the bronzer and could use a darker tint. I suggest she become acquainted with Ardell Brow Sculpting Gel to contour and define her brows, while maintaining their natural look.

Tone down the blush. There’s a wee too much cheek flush going on around here! If you’re going to rock a red lip (which you do fabulously by the way Christina!), why not just illuminate your cheekbones instead of adding more colour? We love highlighting with Prestige Cosmetics Skin Loving Minerals Sun Baked Highlighter.

On the plus side Ms Aguilera, we love your smouldering eyes, ruby pout and dusty pink dress, so snaps to you for that! I guess the finishing touch would be a swipe of varnish from the new OPI Burlesque range – perhaps the gold ‘Rising Star’ shade would have you red-carpet ready in a flash!

What advice would you give Christina after clapping eyes on this look?
