Apparently the answer is a big resounding yes. That’s right – no one wants to pucker up anymore.
Hang on. What? Why on earth would we not want to get involved in a make-out session with our nearest and dearest? The answer is this: pash rash. Yes, pash rash. We’re scared of it. We dislike it. And we don’t want to suffer from it.
A recent survey completed by Galaxy Research on behalf of Gillette found women fear kissing men with stubble because of the red rash that results. Of the 1,000 Australians surveyed, seven out of 10 said a long lingering kiss was off the cards if stubble was present, making a quick peck on the lips the top option.
So does this mean we are a nation lacking in passion? Not really. 71 per cent still stated they’d be up for a lengthy pashing session if the man were clean-shaven. Good on you, ladies.
These findings do leave the male sex in a little bit of a pickle though – around half of the woman surveyed said a man with stubble is in fact rugged, masculine and sexy.
So, boys, what are you going to do? Look sexy with stubble or go clean-shaven and get more kisses? The choice is up to you…
Are you surprised to hear so many women dislike kissing a man with stubble? Do you prefer to pucker-up with a man who’s clean-shaven? Do you find stubble sexy?
