I like to think I’m pretty vigilant when it comes to my skin care routine. Twice daily I’ll cleanse, tone and moisturise; I apply eye cream before bed every night, and I even exfoliate every third day. But I have to admit there’s one part of the routine I tend to miss – using a face mask. And I’m willing to bet there’s every chance you’re skipping this step, too (if you’re a regular face mask user, I seriously applaud your efforts!). But why do we need to be better about using face masks? While cleansing can remove the dirt, oil, and make-up build up from the day, a face mask will penetrate deeper, drawing out all the impurities from deep within your pores, making your skin will be cleaner and clearer.
