Let me tell it to you straight; I’m no good at maths, fractions get me flustered and division does my head in. But when I saw the above image of Jessie J at the 3 Annual Elle Women in Music ceremony in Los Angeles recently, all I could think was bold lip + high cheekbones x balayaged locks = one smoking, uber-sultry sass pot.
Yep, I was pretty much hooked. Especially since I’ve noticed JJ has been rocking much shorter crops and slightly simmered-down styles of late. How I missed her cascading locks, and her sultry, smoky stares. Well, I’m happy to say they’re back, and with a new addition – the most eye-catching, sky-high cheekbones you ever did see.
She makes Rosie Huntington-Whiteley look as though she was left behind the barn door when high cheekbones were being handed out – which we all know she wasn’t – obviously (because she pushed to the front of the queue, greedy little clam).
Another of Jessie J’s triumphs in this look is her Queen-of-Hearts-style red pout that I am seriously green with envy over. What is that shade, JJ? It’s driving me up the wall. If I was going to take a stab I’d say L’Oreal Infallible in Blazing Sangria – but hey, what do I know?
