Neutrogena® Visibly Clear™ Light Therapy Acne Mask
bh’s Kate says:
“I was so excited to try the Neutrogena® Visibly Clear™ Light Therapy Acne Mask when it came out because I have definitely been struggling with acne lately, particularly around my jawline. I’ve been using the LED mask every night right before bed and it’s simple to use. You simply plug the cord from the activator (the remote control-looking thing that turns the mask on and off and tells you how many treatments you have left) into the mask and away you go. The combination of blue light and red light is said to help to disrupt the acne cycle and prevent future breakouts. You do look a little bit like Jason but it was really simple to just pop on while watching TV, and after 10 minutes the mask automatically shuts off. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my skin since I started using the mask – my breakouts are fewer and farther between and much less noticeable than before. This is definitely a great buy for those struggling with breakouts and I’ll be using it for years to come!”
Jason Powersmile Antiplaque & Whitening Toothpaste
bh’s Ellie says:
“I trialled the Jason Powersmile Antiplaque & Whitening Toothpaste and was really impressed! I had never used a toothpaste like this one before; it isn’t tested on animals and is free of everything from SLS, preservatives and fluoride, to artificial colours, sweeteners and gluten. Plus, it’s made up of botanicals like bamboo powder, calcium carbonate, sodium carbonate and silica which gently whiten and prevent tartar build up. It’s fitting that the packaging is also pared back. It’s a white and orange tube with no blinding or glitzy designs in sight. When you twist the cap off, the paste is a natural creamy colour, that’s light, soft and lathers easily. The main reason I’m obsessed with this toothpaste is because it’s minty but not too minty, if you know what I mean. It’s very crisp and fresh but doesn’t leave me with that overbearing, intense mint flavour in my mouth. At this stage, I haven’t been using it long enough to tell if my teeth are whiter, but I am really optimistic. I would genuinely recommend this toothpaste to anyone and everyone, but especially to those who like to use more natural products or find that other toothpastes are a bit too harsh or intensely minty. I would definitely purchase this again!”
L’Oréal Paris Sugar Scrubs Glow Scrub with Grapeseed Oil
bh’s Kristy says:
“I love facial scrubs, or any product for that matter, which promises to brighten my tired-looking skin. So I was stoked to be trialling theL’Oréal Paris Sugar Scrubs Glow Scrub with Grapeseed Oil. Containing three fine sugars plus grapeseed oil and vitamin E, it works to illuminate dull skin. Woop! On opening the jar, the scrub smelt good but not overpowering – bonus! I massaged the product into my skin in circular motions and then added water as instructed and the sugar slowly started to dissolve. It didn’t feel abrasive on my skin and left it looking a whole lot brighter. It says to use it three times a week, which I have so far, and it has paid off. I’ve noticed that my complexion is looking a lot more even toned and radiant. I also used it on my lips, as per the instructions, and they’ve become smoother, which is great for when I want to wear lippie. I’ll definitely keep on using this scrub.”
