Trinny fatigue? No such thing. Whether she’s launching a butter-soft cleansing balm or a tinted serum, showing us exactly how to style our wardrobe on Instagram, or sharing her golden rules for good makeup, Trinny Woodall is everywhere. And quite frankly, we can’t get enough.
Just when we thought the product development side of Trinny’s beauty line, Trinny London, was surely on a well-earned break, the British powerhouse has come out firing with her most exciting launch to date: an SPF.
Everything we know about the Trinny London SPF…
“Today, I’m launching the most important step in your skin care routine,” Trinny told Instagram, holding up the never-before-seen purple tube; otherwise known as the See The Light Moisturiser SPF50+ ($85 at Trinny London).
“I wanted to address in literally all the 400 products that I’ve tried and thought ‘I didn’t love that, how can I change that,'” she said.
And alas, a quick three years of research later, “I come to you with a formulation that is weightless, luxurious, leaves no white cast and feels silky smooth.”
Unsurprisingly, this product launch was motivated by more than just a comfortable texture alone.
Trinny reminds us that “90 per cent of skin ageing comes from exposure to daylight,” whether it’s an overcast day, you’re in the shade or even sitting inside beside a window.
Is the Trinny London SPF available to purchase in Australia?
Not as of yet. However, we’ve been given a direct shoutout on the Trinny London website.
“For those in Australia – we haven’t forgotten you!” the website reads. “The next-generation UV filters we’ve used for See The Light aren’t yet available where you are. We want you to have the absolute best, so we’re working hard on a powerful, weightless formula just for you.”
Ok fine, we’ll be patient.
As for the rest of the world? Well, it’s been less than 24 hours since it’s launch and the product has already sold out. Here’s praying for a swift global restock and an even swifter reformulation for all of us down here in Australia!

Are you looking forward to trying the Trinny London sunscreen? What SPF are you currently using on your face?
Atm my skin hates all sunscreens. Hers looks great though
Not sure what you think, but to me $85 is quite a lot?
I agree. It does look lovely but is a little expensive.
Yes $85 is a bit pricey
Currently using Invisible Zinc Sheer Defence Tinted Moisturiser SPF50
Me too, @Izzy09 – it’s great stuff!
Quite pricey, I’ll pass thanks.
That is a bit pricey for an SPF… I would prefer to buy the Cancer Council or La-Roche Posay
Yes, I’m a huge La Roche Posay fan too
i wonder why we have to have a different formula?
Will it be effective enough for the strong Aussie sun?
I am currently using Nivea brand. This one not fits with my budget.
No! Ridiculous price. Even if I had the $ I wouldn’t buy it.
At $85, I think not. There are plenty of excellent sunscreens available on the Australian market.
Quantity looks tiny!
Absolutely, @Onlyoni!
I agree that sunscreen is vital, but that’s a pretty steep price.
Looks interesting, I’ll check it out when released here
I had not heard of her until she came over here and did some sort of PR tour. I can’t say her products really stir any interest in me. I don’t really know how it’s anything unique based on what is already available in a saturated market of similar products.
Expensive
Would love to give it a go – sounds amazing as a sun protection for your skin, but it does seem very expensive.
Definitely looking forward to trialing this product once i go through my creams at the moment im trying Karen Farley SPF cream
when did sunscreen become so expensive, even here its gone up so much. should be health related not beauty. i would like to try her range though
Used to love watching Trinny on tv.
Using a Bondi Sands facial sunscreen at the moment which I’m happy with.
I switch between a few different ones and hers looks really great.
Everyone need a good SPF cream but $85 is too much for me!
Agree!
A long time ago I saw Trinny at the shopping centre showing woman how to improve their dressing style. It was pretty informative.
I’m sure Trinnys’ product is lovely but I like Nivea Sun Uv Shine Control Spf50+ Sun Mattifying Face Sunscreen 50ml for a much more affordable option.
Excellent, any SPF is good in my book.
Great article and I love Trinny but am afraid $85 is out of my reach.
I remember her from the “What not to wear” days. But the sunscreen. Nope not for me. $85 is way too much to spend on sunscreen.
Currently using a tinted moisturiser with SPF.
