beautyheaven says…

, Trilogy Rosehip Oil Light Blend is a certified organic seed oil blend that is formulated for oily and combination skin. The lightweight formula is designed to be quickly and easily absorbed, while still being deeply nourishing. It aims to help to regulate the skin’s own oil production, improve skin tone, and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The formula contains certified organic rosehip oil to help hydrate, repair and strengthen skin, jojoba seed oil to promote smooth skin and protect the skin from drying out, and grapeseed oil to moisturise skin and help balance both dry and oily skin types. It contains no added fragrances or preservatives, and is also suitable for sensitive skin. Many of the Trial Team members had tried rosehip oil in the past, and agreed this was a lighter alternative to other formulas on the market. They appreciated the dropper-style packaging, saying it made the oil easy to dispense and allowed for more precise use. Some members found they needed to use slightly more than the recommended two to three drops to cover their entire face, neck and decolletage. The members appreciated the subtle scent and lightweight consistency of the oil, finding it absorbed quickly and easily as a result. The majority felt that the product left either no residue, or only a very slight residue on the skin post-application. Most triallers agreed the oil left their skin feeling soft, smooth and plump after use – particularly when applied before bedtime to nourish their skin overnight. Some commented that it helped to improve either dry, oily or dry and oily areas of their skin, by regulating their skin’s oil production. The majority also agreed that the product gave their skin a glowing appearance. Many planned to continue to use the product going forward, in combination with their existing skin care regimens. *Based on a survey of 20 beautyheaven Trial Team members. The products for this Trial Team have been provided by Trilogy for the purpose of trial and review. at oil for combination/oily and sensitive skin

gy Rosehip Oil Light Blend has worked absolute wonders for the dry spots on my cheeks. It leaves my skin feeling comfortable and moisturised. It also combines well with my existing skincare routine. When I started trialing it, I had a couple of blemishes on my jawline that were in the healing stage. I was hesitant to put an oil on these blemishes but Trilogy state the oil is meant to help repair and strengthen skin, so I thought I would give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised that the oil actually reduced the healing time of the blemishes. After only five days there is hardly a mark at all. Usually my blemishes take at least a week to heal completely.…read more reviews here

ng oil!

previously used facial oils, however they didn’t really do much for my face. If anything, they left me feeling more oily. This light blend has been a total gamechanger! I found it easy to apply and blend into the skin. It was easily and quickly absorbed and didn’t leave my skin feeling or looking greasy. My skin looked and felt so much smoother and more clearer as time went on using this. I felt more comfortable without having a face full of makeup, and found that my makeup also sat, looked and lasted a lot longer than previously done. I only used this once a day, however will be upping this to twice a day to ensure continuity of the benefits of this product.…read more reviews here

Oil without the Sheen

e used another rosehip/jojoba oil blend which I found to be too oily for my combo skin, but this one was perfect for me. I used it every night for a week and I got no oily residue or breakouts. What I did get though was beautifully soft and hydrated skin with that lovely glow that only rosehip oil can give! I love the little glass bottle with dropper style as I can easily get a few drops out without too much fuss. I did use roughly four to five drops as I found I needed that much to cover my face, neck and décolletage area, which I then finished off with my natural nighttime moisturiser. In the morning my skin looks and feels absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this blend to anyone looking for a great natural facial oil that hydrates and repairs without any nasty chemicals or oily residue!…read more reviews here

llent as a moisturising nightly serum but can leave an oily sheen

ackaging is simple, pretty and classy, and at approximately $26 for 20 mL it is very affordable. A bottle lasts a very long time because of the small amount required. It is very easy to use; three drops is enough for the entire face, neck and décolletage. It feels nice on the skin, particularly if used after a good exfoliation. My skin feels soft and silky after use. After one week of use twice daily I noticed a slight overall improvement in the tone of my skin. My skin was definitely soft and supple. It can leave an oily sheen on the skin however, and contribute to foundation rubbing off.…read more reviews here
