As any bleached blonde knows, damage is part and parcel of the constant upkeep to maintain our hair goals.
But what you may not know, is that the hair products you use in between your salon appointments can make a huge difference.
bh’s Delaney has been a committed blonde for years and recently trialled the new Toni&Guy StrengthPlex Bond Repair range for four weeks.
Incorporating the shampoo, conditioner, mask and oil into her routine, she set out to see whether the patented StrengthPlex technology (which helps to reconstruct broken bonds in the hair fibre) could help her hair become stronger and healthier-looking.
So can you really get salon results at supermarket prices? Watch Delaney’s road test above to find out…
And if you’re keen to hear what our members thought, you can read their Toni&Guy Strengthplex Trial Team results here.
Do you have blonde hair? What are your tips for keeping it strong and healthy-looking?
I love toni and guy products as I’m not blonde I still recommended this to others.
I have lighter ends, so this might be worth trying for my hair
May try this in future, range looks fab!
This looks good for the blondes!
I’ve never tried Toni & Guy products! Might be time to check them out!
This looks very nice
I haven’t tried any T&G products other than their bamboo comb, which I really like.
The results look really good and the products are easily accessible
Sounds good would love to try it out
I do have blonde hair. I dont know that I do anything to make my hair strong as such but I love using moroccan oil to make it look healthy and give it shine.
This had some good reviews. I’d be interested to see how it compares to Olaplex.
Yeah, it’s hard to beat Olaplex!
The video results looked great – I could see the difference.
Thank God I don’t have to go through dying my hair and putting in foils all the time, these kinds of hair treatments do have a bad affect on your hair.
Sounds like a great hair treatment Toni&Guy StrengthPlex Bond Repair product range.
Thank goodness I have gone to darker shades. They aren’t as harsh on my hair.
This brand has fabulous products at an affordable price. I use their purple range for blondes all the time.
I have blonde hair and it gets wet a lot! It’s fine but I have lots of it. I find that it looks best straight after I’ve washed it as it tends to sit properly – I think this is becasue of the way my hairdresser cuts my hair. So my best tip would be to wash it often and source out the best haircutter you can find in your area.
I’ve used Toni & Guy products but not the Strengthplex which I wouldn’t mind trying.
always wanted to turn into a bleached blonde but it is so scary!
I’ve always had blonde hair and it is a pain sometimes maintaining the colour.
As a blonde, I need this!
on special on coles this week 8-9 bucks
Luckily I don’t need this
looks like an exciting product
Would live to try this range.
I’ve read this article before
This looks good 🙂
Lemon juice days are over
I think I’ve commented on this already?
Always on the look out for new, nice products and these look great, Maybe I will win?
I would like to mgive this a go
That does look very nice
Interesting one to look more into…
This was a great presentation Delaney, your hair looked amazing. This seems like a new excellent range.
They are great products. I use all the time.
I am definitely sticking to my dark brown hair for the foreseeable future. It is just a lot less maintenance compared to blond hair.
I don’t have blonde hair but I did find this informative.
These products look amazing.
I too dont want to dye my hair too much I’m scared that I will loose my hair.
If you can get away without dye then you are being kind to your hair. I have too much grey and not ready to let it go. Luckily I have plenty of hair.
Im not blonde but I would recommed this to my friends.
I feel that I’ve seen this somewhere before. Is this a popular brand?
I will wait for the next special to come around but I am tempted to try it. I am half way through Olaplex No3 and so far not convinced that it is working.
I am going to give this a go after reading this trial article. I have Olaplex, half a bottle in and I’m not convinced that it is doing anything so far. I’m going to give this a go
Opalex 3 did nothing for my bleached damaged hair. Maybe I’m one of the unlucky ones.
I’m not blonde, but these products look lovely.
I will have to try these products as I have blond chemically straightened hair, I’ve always used Olaplex but would like something less expensive
They look amazing!
I need to try this for my blonde hair.
my hair is really in need of this right now. nothing seems to be working well
