Who says you need complicated outfit, hair and make-up changes when you’re presenting at a big Hollywood awards show? Taylor Swift certainly knows how to get things done with minimal fuss as she proved with her multi-tasking tresses at the recent Grammy Awards.
We especially love the fact that the multiple award winning songstress hasn’t taken on a diva persona and instead opts to complement her quick-and-easy up-and-down ‘do with a simple yet oh-so-sexy make-up style. Don’t know about you, but I’m just waiting for the opportunity to re-create her look!
Here’s how to do it:
Hair:
1.) Spray your locks with a heat protection product such as Paul Mitchell Heat Seal, and use curling tongs or a slim-line straightening iron to produce tight ringlets.
2.) Once set, run your fingers gently through your hair to loosen your curls before fixing their shape with ghd Ultimate Hairspray.
3.) Create a rough side part and sweep your hair up into a low bun, securing in place with bobby pins.
4.) Finally, spritz generously with Toni&Guy Finishing Shine Spray and off you go! When you’re ready for a change, simply remove the bobby pins, give your hair a quick shake and your look will be instantly updated.
Make-Up:
1.) Working from the inner corner of each eye outwards, use a liquid eye liner such as ARTISTRY Control Eyeliner, to draw a line across your top lashes. For added glamour make the line slightly thicker and flick it out towards the outer corner of each eye.
2.) Blend your favourite neutral hued eye shadow across your lids and accentuate your peepers with a slick of lash building mascara. We like Elizabeth Arden Double Density Mascara.
3.) Finish with a light dusting of peach blush across the apples of your cheeks, and a splash of red lipstick.
