For me there’s nothing worse than getting a bad night sleep. Not only do you feel like crap the next day but the effects of insomnia are comparable to being under the influence of alcohol – not so handy when you’ve got to go to work or drive a car. As a mum of a 16-month old, a decent night sleep is a rarity so I’m all about finding the best sleep therapy.
I’m not alone! The Sleep Health Foundation found that 40% of women have trouble hitting the sack with ease and another 50% get middle of the night insomnia. In other words, they find it hard to get back to sleep when they’ve been woken during the night. Sound familiar?
It’s safe to say insomnia cures are top of mind for most women. I’ve tried the lot when it comes to a natural sleep aid! Camomile tea. Tick. No social media before bed. Tick. Heat bag. Tick. Ear plugs. Tick. But my favourite sleep therapy, of the smorgasbord available, would have to be lavender! Luckily for me, and you, this pretty-smelling flower can be found infused skin care products.
Some great suggestions! Thanks . Will be on the look out
