“This is a great toner for anyone with sensitivity issues as it’s alcohol free and contains no perfume or colour, which tend to be the main problems people have. This toner has no obvious smell and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean.
Simple Toner is perfect for after cleansing to make sure every little trace of dirt and make-up is gone from my skin but it’s also good when I just feel a bit sweaty or grotty, especially during hot, humid weather, to freshen up my face.
I know some people don’t bother with toner but for me it’s essential to make sure my skin is clean plus the application of toner using a cotton pad or wool also works as a gentle form of exfoliation. This is just a nice, light and cheap product that is a convenient size for throwing into my hand bag or sports bag, I take my range of travel size products from Simple with me to tennis every week so that I can keep my skin clean and healthy but these little bottles and tubes would also be great for travelling as they take up so little room but there’s enough product for weeks of use.” Rating: 4/5 – Stay C
Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel
“Handy size for travelling, it comes in a squeezable tube for easy dispensing. I found that the best way to use this product was to put a small amount into the palm of my hand, and then rub my hands together so it would foam before I would apply it onto my face. It wasn’t overly foaming or soapy and easy to use. The gel wash formula is extremely gentle and non-drying. My skin felt fantastic afterwards, clean but not tight. This is a great buy, quality and budget all in one.” Rating: 5/5 – southcoastclare
Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser
“Among all 4 items that I am trialling, I love the moisturiser the best. It is a milky texture and a bit thick, but it’s surprising to find how quickly it absorbs into my skin. It hydrates my skin and doesn’t have any smell at all, so again it is not irritating. It is alright and moisturising enough for my oily/combo skin – and again I really have to agree with other ladies here that the bottle is certainly one of the problems. I think a tube would have been a better option.” Rating: 5/5 – Vivalicious Beauty
Simple Conditioning Eye Make-Up Remover
“This is a great, non-fussy eye makeup remover. I do not wear heavy eye makeup, but found it effectively removed liquid eyeliner that can often be difficult to budge. I applied this to a cotton pad and held it to my eye for 30 seconds before gently wiping – I like that there is no need for rubbing and found the toner did not irritate my eyes or leave an oily residue.” Rating: 4/5 – Eskimo Bec
What do you wish was way more simple?
I would love to try the facial wash gel.
This would have been a great trial to be on.
