Under normal circumstances, it’s safe to say the skincare routine we’re able to bang out before work Monday to Friday is very lean compared to the self-care-centric regimen we commit to on the weekends.
Because when your bus, train, ferry, spaceship etc. is due to leave scarily soon, a quick cleanse and moisturise scenario is about as good as it gets.
So, during the period of self-isolation, why not commit our usual commute time to our complexions? Because for the time being, self-care doesn’t have to be saved for Saturday or Sunday; a skin-boosting silver lining.
From face masks to crystal massages, here are the decadent skin care steps we suggest you add into your daily routine now that you’ve got a spare halfy in the A.M (in no particular order – mix and match as you wish).
I’ve always been curious about facial rollers. I’d probably go for a Rose quartz one, with pink being my favourite colour. I’ve often wondered, do they work? Are they just a gimmick? Perhaps I should just get one and find out for myself!
Definitely learnt some new things in this article. Though think I will stick to sheet masks and other masks as my skincare treat that is a little more time consuming
I am actually working on giving myself more face masks. Im now here alone and dont have to worry about anyone else. My time is my own so I have the opportunity to indulge myself.
The Kat Burki Micro Facial Wand looks good. Would love the try the Conair Facial Sauna. I am a huge fan of face masks whether it be clay, cream, gel or fabric.
Being busier than ever with everyone now at home working individually online for work/uni/school etc, and having to buy groceries more carefully than ever which is more time consuming i.e. I have to actually wash the tofu before putting it in the fridge when I get it home from the shops – things like that. I'm actually finding I have less time for myself these days due to these covid19 reasons. I actuallty like everyone being home though, but it is more work as they tend to make more mess when they're all at home and I need to put a hand in for my daughter's homeschooling (which I honestly love doing but it's harder for her because she is 15 and adjusting to a different learning style – but she works so hard I think she'll adapt beautifully).
Loving receiving my Easater Showbag though because it's given me a little bit of specialness just for me to escape with (and write some reviews too which I love to do!).
I actually got told I won a comp that includes a foreo luna play and a jade roller so it looks like I'll finally have some of these goodies to try out for myself. I need some extra pampering so I'll try my bedt to use them.
I have a rose quartz one. I ordered mine online from Adore Beauty and also had some store credits with them for doing some reviews so it hardly cost me anything.
I can highly recommend it. I use it daily morning and night, it's so relaxing and cooling on the skin. Have used it every day since I received it. Would make a great gift for someone as well.
I use a facial roller, sheet masks, under eye patches and the Lumi Skin device in the shower. I love being decadent with my skin. I'm interested in the facial steamer…
Not trying to be a negative nancy but these are really pricey and bit tough to get my hands on since theres no work right now. But I definitely have been keeping my eye out for the lumiskin, have heard great things about it and need to try it when I can
Great tips! These days I am totally make-up free so I am using Iso to perfect my skincare routine so I really liked this article! Did purchase and started using a face roller and I happy to say I do see a difference! If you are thinking of investing in a face roller, research which one is best for you, there are jade ones, amethyst ones, rose quartz and each have their own benefits. I use an amethyst one as it is best for acne and acne prone skin! I have also been face masking a lot, which I am thoroughly enjoying!
Some cool looking gadgets here. With my dual addiction to Skin Republic Masks and anything with green tea that mask is coming home!
Still going into work some days but I can definitely see a place for these on my at home days!
Foreo daily for cleansing. NuFace here and there. Masking also . Love. Needling too when remembering to do it.
I’ve been working in the hospitals during this time and I know that if I needed a face mask everyone would too! Just a moment of self care.
I love jade rollers. I’m intrigued by the ice facial massager. They look cool.

So many things here I’d love to try.
Lots of fun to be had at home
Love my rose quartz face roller, so relaxing and cooling.
A firming wand sounds intriguing!

Yes I am definitely busting out all the face tools and have stocked up on masks- face masks!
I am actually working on giving myself more face masks. Im now here alone and dont have to worry about anyone else. My time is my own so I have the opportunity to indulge myself.
I have the Lumiskin sonic cleanser and I love it! Makes such a difference, my skin feels so smooth and thoroughly clean after I've used it.
Amping up our existing skin/body/hair care routines is a great idea during this time.
The Kat Burki Micro Facial Wand looks good. Would love the try the Conair Facial Sauna. I am a huge fan of face masks whether it be clay, cream, gel or fabric.
I love sheet masking to pamper my skin with
Would like to try the Ultraceuticals Ultra Rich Moisturiser Cream sounds really good. So are the other products that are there.
I love the look of these products. Making me happy.
Oh yeah I think that too!
I'm going to wait until the salons are open again & then treat myself.

I don't have a roller but I do keep a rose quartz ball which I run over my forehead & temple when I have a headache that I can't sooth any other way.
I have been using face steamers lately
so many gadgets! But do they work? hmmm
I'm trying to psych myself up to regularly do dry body-brushing.
I'm not really into gadgets. I love face masks though, and so have been indulging in these more often 😀
I actually got told I won a comp that includes a foreo luna play and a jade roller so it looks like I'll finally have some of these goodies to try out for myself. I need some extra pampering so I'll try my bedt to use them.
I wouldn’t mind a facial steamer for help with relieving sinus congestion
I need to start using face masks far more often.
I still find that I am not willing to spend loads of time on my beauty routine. The novelty of these gadgets wear out eventually.
The micro firming wand sounds promising! I must do more face and body masks
I am not really a gadget person but out of these I wouldn't mind trying the facial sauna.
The green tea face mask and cucumber eye mask are very appealing.

Would love to get my hands on a facial steamer theyre great for before and major masks and cleanses you want to do at home
All of the above gadgets seems promising. I am very keen to try Jade roller
Do those face rollers and massagers work? Are they worth it? I’m interested.

I have heard of some of these brands but not tried any products from these brands.
