I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a reality TV junkie. I’ll watch anything from America’s Next Top Model and Australian Idol to Geordie Shore and Being Lara Bingle.
And I know a lot of you are the same (just try and deny it, I dare you), so I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about when I say that I’ve completely fallen in love with some reality TV stars (yes you, Lauren Conrad and your flawless hair and make-up), and there are others who have made me wish for a life in which I never knew of their existence – not just because of their terrible fake tans.
With Channel 10’s The Shire premiering this week (yes, of course I’ll be watching), there are sure to be a few characters that will rub some people the wrong way, but who knows, maybe they’ll endear themselves to the Australian nation? Time will tell.
