beautyheaven says:

QV Face’s Hydrate + Renew Serum offers a clinically tested 3-in-1 serum that has been formulated specifically to treat and improve skin, even sensitive types. The fragrance-free, multi-purpose formula works to hydrate and calm the skin while also delivering anti-ageing benefits.

At the affordable price point of $20.99, members were not expecting to pick up the bottle and feel the weight of such high quality packaging. The lightweight formula also surpassed their expectations thanks to its absorbent and easy-to-spread consistency, requiring just two small pumps for complete coverage.

Regardless of their familiarity and success with other QV products, those with sensitive skin were still uncertain that this formula would not cause irritation. However, members happily reported that the niacinamide, glycerin, and panthenol-rich serum did not cause any irritation to the skin. In fact, it left their complexions in a far better condition than it found them.

While it’s not the first serum to claim hydrating and anti-ageing benefits, QV’s formulation did earn itself props for doing something that others weren’t: keeping things simple. Safe for use both morning and night, this serum agreed with all skin types, played along with other ingredients and of course is both accessible and affordable. Over the short term, members reported an improvement in the plumpness and glow of their skin, while the longer term benefits ranged from improved elasticity to enhanced brightness.

For this reason, members were unable to find many (if any) reasons that they wouldn’t continue using this serum daily at the conclusion of the trial. Quickly replacing not just one but up to three different serums in their routine, their regimens were streamlined and condensed while the results in their skin were amplified. Overall? 50 very happy, healthy and hydrated faces were left to show for it.

“My complexion is now brighter and more awake and my skin feels so smooth and soft! I didn’t notice a huge difference in the fine lines around my eyes, so I was a bit disappointed there.” – Orchid27

“I have been so happy to trial this product. I’ve got dry, sensitive skin and often find products give me a million little bumps up to burning my skin. With winter I have been very dry, and so wasn’t really giving this much hope. However amazingly this has been so hydrating, without causing any skin irritation. I love putting this on morning and night and my skin feeling invigorated, it soothes the dryness and I recommend it.” – Niqueyp

“I have been using the serum for the past 3 weeks and I can see improvements in my skin. So far I have noticed that my skin is more hydrated and smooth and wrinkles are less visible. I will continue using the serum.” – Preppa

“The packaging is lovely and the pump is much more appealing then a dropper. One pump is the perfect amount to cover my face and my neck generously. The serum is light and readily absorbs into my skin. My skin was left feeling plump, hydrated and over time has reduced the appearance of wrinkles, particularly around my eyes.” – Nbird16

  1. Looks like a good Serum and it isn’t too expensive to buy would be worth trying out so glad that it is for sensitive skin and has some great ingredients niacinamide, glycerin, and panthenol.

  2. Great to see glycerin and niacinamide fairly high up on the ingredients list, and the price point is reasonable. I’ll still tend to choose CeraVe over QV though because of the ceramides (I’ve tried QV’s ceramide range but it’s more expensive and I can’t deal with the fragrance!).

  3. Good to see a few long-term/regular contributors on this trial. Definitely trust their reviews and might give this a try when I run out of the other *too many to count* serums I had to test and have been accumulating.
