When you think of Pamela Anderson, we bet the blonde bombshell that took over the screens and magazines of the ‘90s is what comes to mind. But after being a totally enviable beauty icon for decades, Pamela Anderson is ditching her signature look.
Just as the smoked out soft-grunge ‘90s looks are coming back in style, Pamela has decided to take the furthest step away from the look as she could. Because after all, she still has a rebellious streak.
Pamela Anderson no makeup
Yep, that heading is correct. And while it’s no longer new news at this point, Pamela continues to stun us with her glowing sans makeup skin, embracing herself entirely while also choosing freedom and rebellion.
Pamela has long since been a supporter of clean beauty brands, opting for natural and even homegrown products. But the biggest question Pamela has been asked for decades is if she’ll ever do a beauty collection? Well, Pamela told WWD she’s “glad she kind of held out this long and really found the right connection”, wanting to ensure whichever brand she chose completely fit with her environmentally-friendly ethos.
Sonsie Skin
Sonsie launched mid last year (2023) and launched with an ethos that goes beyond just healthy skin. Believing that outward health is intrinsically linked with inner wellbeing. It wasn’t until recently however that Pamela acquired her perfect fit in Sonsie Skincare, becoming a co-founder alongside founder Marie von Behrens-Felipe.
Their range includes three consciously-created skin care products that aim to restore balance, hydration and a lit-from-within glow to your skin, along with an option to purchase the range as a bundle ($221 at Sonsie Skin).
Sonsie Multi Moisture Mask
This invisible mask is rich with skin nourishing ingredients, including 12 per cent of moisture-retaining glycerin, hydrating hyaluronic acid and sensitive skin-soothing and barrier-protecting antioxidant prickly pear. This multi-use mask will leave your skin ultra-hydrated no matter how you choose to use it.

Sonsie Super Serum
Sonsie are committed to introducing us to the key to a hydrated glowing base. And sensitive skin folk rejoice, this serum is gentle enough for everybody to use. With a nourishing blend of Sonsie’s signature vitamin and mineral pack plant oil complex, the serum is infused with skin-soothing niacinamide and inflammation and redness-reducing mountain pepper extract.

Sonsie Basic Balm
This balm is truly anything but basic, from its fresh and zingy yuzu extract scent to its inclusion of seriously softening squalene. And of course sunflower seed wax provides a rich and creamy vessel to carry all the extra pout-perfecting ingredients directly onto your kisser. Pucker up!

Are you loving the makeup-free era? Would you try out the range?
I still like wearing my makeup.
good on you -enjoy . I am the less is more type but still appreciate a well made up face
I do like the makeup free trend
Some nice sounding products that would be great to try
That’s what I was thinking too.
Wouldn’t it be nice if they were offered on a trial basis and my name was on the list for trial them. ??
Ha Ha ! Norma good luck
She looks amazing
I’m somewhat in that makeup free era. I’m wearing much less makeup now and I like how my skin looks
Me too but I’ve never really enjoyed wearing it and I think my skin is so much better for it
It is good for your skin to feel the air
Me to, I’d rather look after my skin than wear a crap load of makeup to cover it up.
Totally Lisa359
looks lovely
Celebs seem to get on the make up game when their star is on the downward trend.
Yes, seems like they all have a line out now
I like that makeup-free is now more socially acceptable for red carpets, &c, but I feel more like myself with it.
I understand where you are coming from, it’s a form of self expression just like hair and clothes.
I actually like the plain packaging too.
I just googled her,, she wore a lot of makeup when she was younger so this is a big change for her. Plus she’s been married 5 times.
I’m really over celebrity products. I would have tried these but the price point is unsurprisingly high. No thanks.
It’s so great to hear she didn’t get stuck in the 80’s. That was a long time ago afterall! Love her naturale look!
She looks great!
You can still wear makeup but look natural
It all depends on what I’m doing as to whether I go makeup free or just a touch.
I enjoy wearing makeup, but since I don’t always have time to use it, I’m glad makeup free is in.
I haven’t heard of the brand but it sounds good and is not overly priced
I prefer a natural look rather than a heavily made-up look.
I still love my makeup and products
Make up free is me 95% of the time best thing e
I really like her confidance.
