NIVEA Cellular Lift Expert Day Cream SPF 15

The NIVEA Cellular Lift Expert Day Cream SPF 15 is an advanced anti-ageing formula that’s been enriched with pure bakuchiol to strengthen the skin and make visible improvements to texture and fine lines after one use.

Before even opening the rose gold pot, members were excited about this product. It was not only affordable, but it promised to hydrate skin, provide anti-ageing benefits and it came with a complementing night cream which meant they had an easy-to-follow AM and PM routine. However, some members (though happy about the price point) expressed concern that the affordability might impact the potency of its formula, and anti-ageing results may be on the lighter side. To their delight, after regular use, most members revealed their skin was visibly plumper which they attributed to bakuchiol (a retinol alternative) and hyaluronic acid. Though some members found they needed something stronger to assist with reducing the appearance of fine lines, everyone agreed that the lightweight cream left their skin looking refreshed, hydrated and dewy.

In terms of where this cream sat in their current routine, members shared that they loved applying it after their serum and before their SPF. Thanks to its fast-absorbing consistency and no-shine finish, it sat pleasantly underneath makeup and doubled as a hydrating primer.

After noticing a visible difference in the glow and hydration of their skin, members of the Trial Team voiced their enthusiasm to continue using this product at the conclusion of the trial. Though after four weeks of daily use and hardly a dent made in their tub, they didn’t believe a restock would be necessary anytime soon.

NIVEA Cellular Lift Expert Night Cream

The NIVEA Cellular Lift Expert Night Cream is (you guessed it) the nighttime variant within the range. Like the day cream, this formulation has been enriched with the anti-ageing ingredient, bakuchiol, plus two forms of hyaluronic acid that keep the skin smooth and plump.

After only one application, it was abundantly clear to members of the Trial Team why there was the need for both a day and night formulation. In contrast to the day cream, the night variant offered a richer consistency, which one member compared to that of a body butter. A trait which initially rang alarm bells for those who were prone to breakouts. However, despite its thicker consistency, the cream absorbed quickly and didn’t feel as though it was suffocating the skin.

Described as an “economical night cream” there wasn’t a single member on the trial who didn’t agree that a little bit of this product goes a long way. Though it was clear there were improvements to the texture of the skin – complexions were visibly softer, plumper and brighter – members did believe they would still need a more potent anti-ageing serum to work alongside this cream to truly reap the anti-ageing benefits they required to soften deeper lines.

Ticking a lot of boxes in regards to value for money, agreeing with skin and delivering fast-working results in regards to hydration and nourishment, members were happy to continue using these products in their routine and would be confident to recommend them to family and friends looking to hydrating and nourish dry, dull skin.

NIVEA Cellular Lift Expert Day Cream SPF 15

“Easy to apply, take a little out of pot and apply to face/neck. My skin immediately felt smooth and hydrated. Containing pure bakuchiol, Nivea claims the cream will not only hydrate the skin, but to also help reduce wrinkles. I can definitely see the hydration, although I can’t see much difference in relation to reducing fine lines and wrinkles. SPF15, although I would prefer to have the SPF rating a little higher.” – Peta908

“For its price range I was worried it wouldn’t work but it did. It was lightweight and not greasy and it went on beautifully and was absorbed in nicely. It left my face feeling moisturised, soft and fresh. A little bit of the product goes a long way. It was think and easy to spread out over my face easier. It would have been nice if it came with a spatula so you didn’t have to stick your fingers into the pot each time. It did not cause any sort of irritation. And it was a pleasant smelling product.” – CrystalP

“This cream left my skin beautifully smooth, soft, hydrated and I did notice a more even skin tone start to develop – I got a lot of pigmentation after my baby was born and it really was amazing… my daughter commented on how soft and smooth my skin was also and in must admit, I was a little shocked at how well it worked ” – Sparkles12

NIVEA Cellular Lift Expert Night Cream

“The cream was absorbed quickly so didn’t leave a greasy film, but felt moisturising and hydrating. My skin felt comfortable to go to bed with. I didn’t see any real results with this cream either during or at the end of the trial, but I also didn’t get any breakouts (a common issue for me with skin care) and my skin tone might have been a bit better overall – there was definitely no difference to my fine lines however. I did like this, and would use it if I didn’t have my normal skin cream.” – Hilary79

“I’ve really enjoyed using this night cream. It’s rich, hydrating and great for dry skin. Used in conjunction with a face oil it’s transformed my skin. My skin can be sensitive at times but I’ve noticed no irritation whilst using Cellular Lift. After four weeks use I can’t say I’ve noticed any change in my fine lines or wrinkles, however I’ll happily continue using this cream as it’s lovely. The scent is pleasant and I only need a small amount to cover my face, neck and chest.” – Glossqueen

“My skin definitely feels softer and plumper and my wrinkles look softer almost. Overall it is a great night cream for the price and I would repurchase.” – Phillipa495

  1. Some good reviews. The retinal alternative aspect sounds interesting if it works. The issue for me is when a skincare product, especially going on my face is fragranced. Not something I care for.

  2. I haven’t tried this range, but I have never been a fan of Nivea face products. I find they really cause me to break out and my makeup slides off my face. It’s like it sits on top of my skin rather than soaking in or something.

  3. I like the dermal MD anti cellulite serum, it goes on smoothly. I usually use this oil in conjunction with Coolife Fascia & Cellulite Blaster Remover Muscle Roller. I put the oil on right after the shower and roll away with the muscle blaster. I saw a noticeable different in my cellulite dimples. My legs were tighter & smoother. I also use this oil alone without the blaster & I believe it still does the trick❤️❤️
