Remember the times when making an eco-conscious beauty decision meant sacrificing affordability and effectiveness? Well, we can happily kiss those days goodbye because protecting the planet and having a beauty routine that actually works is now very much a reality.
In direct response to the beauty industry’s waste problem, brands are taking matters into their own hands by reducing their environmental footprint in some truly impressive and creative ways. From etchðos building their body care bottles out of 50 per cent recycled milk bottles, to the natural, ethically-sourced ingredients used in A’kin or Aveda’s haircare, the natural beauty category is making waves.
To celebrate Natural Beauty Month at beautyheaven, we sent out trial boxes filled with natural products for some of our lucky members to test and review. And now, you can read all about them in our wrap up below.
Plus, watch the video above for a snippet of our face to face Natural Beauty Month member event at the beautyheaven head office in Sydney.

Wish I could have attended. It looked like a lot of fun.
I don’t have a favourite natural beauty brand, like others I would have loved to attend the event though.
Wouldn’t mind trying the Aveda serum, any product that can help keep my flyaways to a minimum I wouldn’t mind trying.
I could do with some of that Aveda strengthening serum in my life, I hate the look of split or frizzy ends.
Sounds like it was a great event
I got the etchðos Body Wash in Botanical bloom and Summer Citrus in the rewards room and am very pleased with it. It smells devine and is easy to use
That’s good to know. The rewards room is so good. What a bonus.
Sukin is my favourite natural brand.
All products are working for me. Love dry shampoos, as I need them the most atm and love coating my face in the hemptuary oil overnight
Aveda serum is 68 bucks, not 86. oooh, that would be way to exxy hehe

I love Batiste dry shampoos, would love to try that one!
I don’t have a favourite natural beauty brand yet but I am becoming very interested in using natural skincare.
I haven’t heard of Hemptuary products before, perhaps the bitter smell is hemp although it is not mentioned here as an ingredient
I looked so focused in the video!
It was great to be apart of this event and to trial all these great products
I just watched the video, looks like there were so many stalls there and a very well attended event. I hope they do another one soon.
