- Attention all Kardashian fans – KKW Fragrance has officially landed in Myer. Kim’s iconic fragrances (such as the Hearts, Gardenia and Body ranges) can be found in store or online at myer.com.au – we advise you move quickly; Myer is only the second retailer in the world to stock the scents, so they’re very hot property.
- Multinational beauty company Coty has announced it will purchase a 51 per cent stake in Kylie Jenner’s beauty business (a $600 million purchase – good going, Kylie). Jenner will keep a 49 per cent stake in the brand and remain the creative lead on product development and marketing initiatives, so yes, the infamous swatching videos will continue.
- Beauty powerhouse James Charles is launching a reality show, with hype around the venture describing it as “Project Runway meets America’s Next Top Model with a dash of beauty”. Contestants will need to show off their skills via YouTube, with six people being chosen to fly to LA to compete for the prize. Blending brushes at the ready, people – Hollywood is calling.
- The Body Shop is proud to once again partner with Amnesty International, announcing the 2019 Christmas gift tag, featuring a hand-painted design by Indigenous artist Emma Hollingsworth, titled ‘Believe’. The tags are $2 or 3 tags for $5, with all proceeds donated to Amnesty International, which is working to protect the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islands people.

The festival will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Bondi Pavillion in Sydney – tickets are available at LoveMyCurls.com.au for $25.

- In news that will surprise absolutely nobody (they’re two of the biggest digital moguls around), theJeffree Star Cosmetics x Shane Dawson collaboration sold out almost immediately after it launched; to be precise, the collab sold 1 million palettes in 30 minutes.
