These Are The Exact Cosmetic Procedures Martha Stewart Has Had Done To Look Younger

Martha Stewart may be 82 years old but that doesn’t mean she wants to look like she’s 82.

In a recent episode of The Martha Stewart Podcast, Martha and her dermatologist, Dr. Dan Belkin chatted about the pair’s game plan for ageing gracefully – with the help of a few “tweakments” here and there.

“I don’t think a lot about age, but I don’t want to look my age at all. And that’s why I really work hard at it,” Martha explained in the podcast.

“I think you’re a real testament to the idea that taking care of your body, taking care of your skin, doing sort of minimally invasive treatments conservatively and regularly can keep you looking beautiful at any age,” Dr. Dan admitted in the conversation.

“I think going to a really good dermatologist can help you feel better,” she suggested.

“I remember when my mom, at 85 years old, went to a plastic surgeon, and she said, ‘I just, I want a facelift because I just want to look good.’ And he said, ‘Well, you’re going to look good. You’re not going to look younger, but you’re going to look good.’ And she said, ‘That’s enough for me. I just want to look good,'” Martha shared.

Unlike her mother, Martha has been firm about the fact that she’s never had plastic surgery, especially after her controversial Sport’s Illustrated cover had people questioning just that. But she’s not ashamed to admit that she’s frequently used cosmetic enhancement procedures such as Botox, fillers and ultrasonic face treatments to keep herself looking young – plus a few handy makeup hacks.

The pair shared with listeners that if experience has taught them anything, it’s that brow Botox is not for Martha.

“Oh, I don’t like that at all. My eyebrows kind of go up in a V and that looks so unnatural because I don’t have lines in my forehead,” Martha confessed.

“I’ve tried to give you a little lift. It hasn’t really worked that well on the upper face, but I think neuromodulators like Botox have worked really well for you on the lower face,” replied Dr. Dan.

The dermatologist also revealed that he’s administered conservative amounts of biostimulatory fillers to keep Martha’s skin looking youthful and plump by encouraging the skin’s natural production of collagen and hyaluronic acid.

“We don’t do it that often, and for you, I like to use fillers that are what we call biostimulatory fillers,” he explained. “So I would say this is another trend moving a little bit away from hyaluronic acid fillers, like regular fillers.”

“We’ve done a little ultrasound tightening I think, a long time ago,” he continued. “We did a little softwave [too], which is an ultrasound-based tightening device.”

  1. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with admitting you’ve gotten fillers or plastic surgery. I wish celebrities would stop lying or pretending it’s “all natural”.

  2. I think that a person choosing to look after themselves with medical/surgical aids is great when they are doing it because they want to. When celebs keep doing it due to public or career pressure, things can start to not look so good after too many procedures. It also depends on the skill of the dr. MS looks really good though.
