So what is ‘cloudless skin’? Basically, it’s the most clear and healthy skin you could ever dream of. It’s skin free of
Sarah Lee, co-founder of Korean beauty website Glow Recipe, explained it further to Byrdie. “Cloudless speaks to the overall health of the skin, where it’s as clear, bright, and discoloration-free as a sunny sky,” Sarah said.
At this point, you might be thinking it sounds a little like the honey and glass skin trends from Korea, but ‘cloudless skin’ is different. It’s more about a ‘healthy aura’ people radiate. The flawless glow is achieved through a balance of good skin care, physical and emotional wellbeing. More a way of life, than a trend.

Aesthetic Consultant, GP dermatologist and founder of Cosmedics Clinics, Dr Ross Perry, explained to GLAMOUR UK how the trend is all about perfection.
‘Cloudless skin must be blemish-free with no visible pores, veins or unevenness. It will be intensely hydrated with a dewy translucency for an incredibly youthful glow,” he said.
I think it’s safe to assume we all want to hang onto our youthful glows for as long as possible. So how does Dr Perry suggest we get our own skin looking ‘cloudless’?
“This is no overnight fix, more something to strive for through a combination of good skincare, sensible diet/hydration and the right skincare products and treatments.”
