Kim Kardashian’s surprising beauty routine

If you’ve ever wondered how often Kim Kardashian washes her hair or what foundation she uses, it’s time to send a thank-you card (or an email if that’s your thing) to the folks at intothegloss.com.

Kim divulged all of her beauty secrets to the New York-based website, and here’s what we now know about her routine and the products she uses.

Kim Kardashian’s favourite make-up

It’s not surprise that the reality TV star admitted to loving getting her make-up done, but she revealed that she thinks she’s pretty good at doing it herself, too. Arming herself with products like Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation and Joe Blasco Ultrabase Foundation (which she describes as “old school, heavy foundation”), as well as aMAC 182 Buffer Brush, she creates her flawless base (fun fact: she has psoriasis, which she works hard to cover). She also keeps a matte bronzer in her make-up bag, and the Anasasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit to contour her cheeks and nose. As for mascara, she swears by Lancôme Définicils High Definition Mascara.

Skin care Kim swears by

Kim admitted to going onto flights and falling asleep with her make-up, but now she’s a lot more conscious of looking after her skin. First she uses a Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelette to remove her make-up, and follows that with a wash with By Terry Pureté de Rose Refreshing Cleansing Gel. When her skin is feeling a little dry, she uses Guerlain Orchidée Imperiale The Rich Cream.

She’s also big on sunscreen, using La Mer The Broad Pectrum SPF 50 UV Protecting Fluid because of its thick texture, non-ghosting finishing, and high coverage.

The stunning brunette also admitted to being “big on laser facials” and always asks her dermatologist what’s new in the world of lasers.

Kim’s surprising hair routine

NEWS FLASH: Kim Kardashian only washes her hair every five days.
Here’s how she explains her hair schedule:
“For my hair, I don’t wash it every day. We start out with a blowout on day one, then we go into a messier vibe the next day, and then we flat iron it and do a really sleek look on day three since that requires a little oil in the hair. Day four could be a slicked-back ponytail, and on the fifth day is when you wash it. That’s a little excessive, maybe. [Laughs]”
