Kérastase Elixir Ultime is not your average leave-in treatment. It’s a hard-working, multi-tasking hair oil that can be used a number of ways. Firstly, as a pre-cleansing product that works to deeply nourish hair and remove impurities; secondly, before blow-drying to aid styling; thirdly, after blow-drying to control frizz and enhance radiance; and finally, as a style touch-up product to help ensure shine and extra protection from the elements.

One of the things the testers loved most about this product was the fact they could use it multiple ways, with many of them preferring to use it in its most unique form: as a pre-shampoo cleanser. Though the price is a little more than many testers were used to, most of them agreed the product would last so long, and the results were so good, that it was well worth investing.

The majority of Trial Teamers found their hair was left smooth and shiny after using Kérastase Elixir Ultime – in fact a whopping 98 per cent of members found their hair looked and felt better after using the oil, especially because it managed frizz so effectively. While a few members found the oil made their fine hair feel a little flat, most triallers found their hair didn’t feel at all limp or greasy during the trial. Overall, the testers enjoyed instant, nourishing results when using the product and a whopping 94 per cent of members believed that Kérastase Elixir Ultime addressed their hair concerns.

“I found my hair had a sheen and shimmer that had been missing for a while. “I have ravaged my hair and I’m always looking for products to help the ends last between cuts. I love Kérastase but had often looked over this because of the price. The first time I tried it, I used it on my towel-dried hair and the next morning, frizz was at an all-time low. I actually wore my hair naturally with zero concerns. Using this on both dry and damp hair post-wash is definitely my favourite way to use it. It adds more shine and seemed to make my hair more manageable.
