Now, if Vic Beckham’s posh bob (aka the ‘Pob’) wasn’t a teensy bit old school at this point, I’d totally give Allen snaps for being so bang on trend at the recent Brit Awards.
But far more serious than a not-so-current chop is my belief that the cameras caught a case of identity theft at it’s worst – and Katie Holmes was the unsuspecting victim.
Allen opted for a sleek bob that finished just under her chin, a nude-ish lip that perfectly complimented her super-smoky eye make-up, and in totally un-Lily–like fashion, a dress that came up to her throat…an almost perfect match to Mrs Cruise’s look at the 2007 Bambi Awards in Germany.
Could it be that Allen needs some inspiration, or is she just a little bit lost in pinning down her personal style? I feel it only fair to lend a helping hand by pointing out a potential look that would take Lily from copycat to “p-h-phat”.
Lily, for you I’d love to see a lighter look – maybe try angel eyes, and a peachy blush (like Bobbi Brown Apricot Shimmer Brick Compact) to contrast your ebony locks.And speaking of your hair, I’d make it sharp, with choppy layers around the front to frame your face – I think it would sit far better than when it’s one-length-and-limp.
