And just as the movie star-turned-health entrepreneur rings in her 42nd birthday, we thought there would be no better time to honour one of our favourite beauty icons of all time.

From the ‘90s to current day, here are our favourite looks from the queen of effortless glow.

Kate’s voluminous roots and thin brows have us feeling serious nostalgia for the ‘90s.

While you’d think the berry lip or shimmer lilac eyeliner would be the main focal point here, it’s actually Kate’s pivot from her signature blonde hair that has really grabbed our attention.

The similarities here between Kate and famous mum Goldie Hawn are very apparent.

Side part. Ringlets. Wispy lashes. Is this where T-Swift got her ‘Love Story’-era inspiration from?

Possibly the first and last time we saw Kate with long, straightened hair and a serious crack at a spray tan. The ultimate blonde bombshell.

We’re total suckers for textured beach tresses, and Kate’s piecey waves are no exception. *Adds a sea salt spray to cart*.

Once you’ve managed to look past that dazzling smile,  you can share in our appreciation for Kate’s co-ordinating peachy eye and cheek combo.

Ok, so this may not be our favourite look from Kate, but we can’t pay homage to her most iconic looks without including her ringlet hair ‘do at the Oscars.

Rocking a bold smokey eye and still looking fresh and light is no easy feat.

A slicked back pony and barely-there makeup never fails to disappoint. And it’s not just one of our favourite looks because Kate rocked it when she was down under (although it helps).

Bouncy, golden, soft and full of life. Oh yeah, Kate’s hair looks good too.

Taking a more sophisticated turn with her look, Kate rocks a deep red lip, bronzed cheek and brushed back hair. Chic.

Shining in all the right places. Kate embraces the natural dewy glow as she rocks a soft pink lip and lick of mascara on her top and bottom lashes.

A fuller coverage matte foundation is the perfect partner to Kate’s deep berry lip. And the deep side part? We approve.
