What’s the difference between a lip mask and a lip balm?
The two seriously similar products do actually have differences, we promise. While lip balms (for the most part) offer short term hydrating effects, a lip mask is designed to deliver long-lasting, hard-hitting hydration. As for texture, lip masks tend to have thicker, richer formulas (all the better for that extra deep kind of hydration!).

Do you use a lip mask? What does your lip care routine look like?
I am using Burt’s Bees lip balm, it’s great.
I don’t think I’ve used a lip balm before
Meant to say lip mask!
Me either.
I have quite a few lip balms that I need to use up.
I like the The Jojoba Company Jojoba Lip Balm best. Looks great.
Fro my a good serum like cosrx snail serum plus vaseline works wonders
I am still not sure about snail serum
I use lip balms but open to trying a mask
I would like to try the Jojoba Lip Balm.
Yes that appeals to me too !
I’m still using the Dermal Therapy lip mask I got to trial. Would love to try one of these suggestions next. I love lip balms and masks.
Great Brand
i will try a lip mask
I bought some watermelon ones from Target the other day – silicon sort of things
Do I need a lip mask ? Not sure !
Thank you for introducing me to quite a few new ones at different prices! The only one I really know well is the Laneige one, and that’s definitely not as good as everyone raves about. It doesn’t stay on overnight.
That’s interesting , thankyou Eriberry – I hadn’t tried that one but was thinking about it.
I hate it when people misuse “peak” for “pique”.
I’d like something for the skin around my lips
So many lovely options.
Laneige is still my OG.
The little pots are so cute!
Lip Balm ? Lip Mask? What is the difference ?
That was already explained in the article.
I love all the products I have tried from the Jojoba Company so I would want to try their lip mask too.
I still have lots of products to use up, but I will definitely give the jojoba lip balm a try at some point.
I love Jojoba products so the lip balm might be worth a try.
I like the Laneige lip mask, but keen to try the Jojoba company one.
Lip balms are my beauty essential.
I always wondered how sugar scrub lip balm works mm..
My pick here is Jojoba’s lip balm; it sounds so soothing
