Hannah Waddingham– or for those deep into bingeing season three of Ted Lasso, ‘Rebecca Welton’ – has just shared the secret behind her radiant, youthful complexion. And with a self-confessed fear of needles, Hannah has skipped any invasive procedures and instead found her glow inside the tube of one very popular drugstore moisturiser.
What drugstore moisturiser does Hannah Waddingham use?
If you’ve paced the aisles of Priceline, kept up with previous Glosscar Award winners or skimmed over Victoria Beckham’s skin care routine, you’ve likely come across this bright green tube once or twice before.
Sharing her regimen with Harper’s Bazaar, Hannah described Weleda’s Skin Food Light ($27.95, currently $22.36, at Adore Beauty) as a “really good basic thing that I absolutely love.”
Although Hannah’s routine does feature a few higher-end products (like Dr Barbara Sturm’s Hyaluronic Serum, $445 at MECCA), she doesn’t allow price to dictate her every purchase decision.
“Not necessarily the most expensive things are the best,” she said. A sentiment which is always music to our ears – especially when it comes from those who have truly tried it all. “I’ve kind of fallen in love with skin care, being in my mid-forties I try and mix and match things that are more expensive and less expensive.”
As for Weleda’s role in her routine, there’s very little Hannah doesn’t use it for. “It’s like my version of Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour,” she explained. “You can put it on your elbows, lips, it’s really gorgeous and smells fabulous”.
But no, she didn’t stop there. “You can use it on your legs,” she continued. “It’s something that always keeps my face calm and moisturised.”
All that for under $30? It’s safe to say Rebecca is certainly getting her money’s worth out of this affordable moisturiser.
Have you tried Weleda’s Skin Food Light? If not, would you like to?
She is fantastic. I love her outfits on Ted Lasso.
I haven’t heard of this show and I haven’t used this moisturiser.
I haven’t either. But she looks lovely.
Ditto.
I have heard of the brand and it is meant to have good products.
Yep, I keep meaning to try it out
Ted Lasso is so good! It’s on Apple TV+
I remember her from Sex Education on Netflix! She looks great
Was she is Sex Education? I’ve only watched S1 so far so this might explain it lol
I like that one too
Haven’t tried this one but it sounds great.
It is so nice, simple and smells great (from the ingredients)
I haven’t tried this but love any moisturising washes.
sorry not a wash -I love moisturising creams
ive tried it – too heavy for my skin. she looks great
She looks so familiar but I looked up her credits and haven’t seen anything
Weleda is lovely but this wouldn’t last long if you use it on your legs too
I’ve never heard of her before, but I like her! She seems quite genuine
I haven’t tried the Light one but love Weleda Skin Food original version
It’s great for winter time, still too rich for the summer.
I’ve tried the original Weleda SF and tbh I can take it or leave it. If I can find it for a good price I might try it.
I bought that one but my hubby stole it from me!
I’ve heard good things about Weleda, but I try to stick to Aussie-made when I can.
I’ve tried the original and liked it, but the light version would’nt have enough moisture for my skin
I love Weleda products. I have quite a few of their oils.
I thought Rebecca Welton was older than 50.
That’s very interesting 🤔 regarding the moisturiser ✨💗✨
I like this moisturiser too!
A good endorsement for Weleda
I haven’t tried this, but Weleda is a pretty reliable brand.
I love her character in Ted Lasso.
I haven’t tried it but would love too.

I haven’t seen this woman before but I don’t have Netflix. I have tried Weleda Skin Food in all of its product variations.
a lovely moisturiser
I’ve used Weleda before. I find it okay but a bit thick to apply
Never heard of her or the show but love that she isn’t botoxed up.
I’m not familiar with the lady but I am with Weleda Skin Food Light. It’s a great product, particularly for winter.
I haven’t tried that, but it sounds interesting.
I bought this product recently, I haven’t gotten around to using it yet. But i have heard good things so looking forward to it
