Hannah Waddingham made an appearance at the Venom: The Last Dance premiere this week to support her bestie and Ted Lasso co-star, Juno Temple, on the red carpet.

The 50 year old stole the show in a Venom-inspired, figure hugging black latex gown designed by Atsuko Kudo — she looked GOREGOUS.

The Internet lost its ever-loving mind over the actress’ figure. But we were (unsurprisingly) distracted by her glowing skin. In fact, her radiant complexion inspired us to do a little digging, to discover the skin care and body products she uses every day.

We stalked Hannah’s Instagram profile for any clues like the beauty aficionados (read: weirdos) we are. Plus, a routine Google search surfaced a night time skin care routine video she filmed with Harper’s Bazaar in 2021.

What we found is that this is a woman that LOVES her beauty products just as much as we do. But the best thing about her routine is that it contains a mix of luxury and affordable products.

“I’ve kind of fallen in love with skincare. Being in my mid-40s, I try and mix and match things that are more expensive and less expensive,” Hannah told Harper’s Bazaar. I’m absolutely obsessed with very, very good products, no rubbish in them. There are some things in my regimen that are more low key. Then other things that I spend the pennies on, because I don’t want to ever have any intrusive things done to my face ’cause I’m scared of needles.”

Here are five “cheap and cheerful” products (as she calls them) we spotted in her kit that we love too.

1/ Weleda Skin Food Light

from $14 at Oz Hair & Beauty

“Weleda Skin Food Light ($14 at Oz Hair & Beauty) is absolutely brilliant on flights and just a real, all-purpose. It’s like my version of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour ($34.99 from Chemist Warehouse),” Hannah told Harper’s Bazaar.

“You can put it on your elbows, put it on your lips, [it’s] really gorgeous and smells fabulous,” she explained. “You can use your on your legs. But it’s something that always keeps my face calm and moisturised.”

2/ La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermallergo Eye Cream

from $34.99 at Chemist Warehouse

In a recent Instagram post, Hannah gave her followers a closer look at her favourite summer products. La Roche Posay’s Toleriane Dermallergo Eye Cream ($34.99 from Chemist Warehouse) made the cheap and cheerful list.

It’s not hard to see why she likes the French pharmacy product either. Infused with Neurosensine™ and niacinamide, it boasts a gentle de-puffing formula that hydrates, soothes and protects the delicate eye area.

3/ Rimmel London Sunshimmer Instant Tan Face & Body in ‘Medium Matte’

from $15 at ASOS

Fact: Hannah sports a sun kissed glow all year round. So we were absolutely delighted to discover that the product responsible for her bronzed appearance is really affordable.

Enter: Rimmel London Sunshimmer Instant Tan Face & Body in ‘Medium Matte’ ($15 from ASOS). This budget-friendly product can be massaged into skin on face and body for an all-over instant tan. The long-lasting gel formula has a matte finish. Plus, it’s water-resistant, and doesn’t smudge or rub off after it’s been absorbed into skin.

4 / Mitchum Women Antiperspirant Roll-On Deodorant Powder Fresh

from $2.63 at Priceline

It may seem like an odd thing to find on a celebrity’s list of beauty essentials, but there’s nothing more practical than a travel-friendly deodorant in the height of summer. Mitchum Women Antiperspirant Roll-On Deodorant Powder Fresh ($2.63 from Priceline) promises to keep you dry and odour free for up to 48 hours. But it won’t stain your clothes either, and it’s been tested by dermatologists to be gentle on skin.

5/ La Roche Posay Anthelios Invisible Fluid SPF 50+

from $32.99 at Chemist Warehouse

Given how beautifully this wears over skin care and under makeup, we’re not surprised this SPF made Hannah’s list of summer favourites. If you can’t stand the greasy feeling of traditional sunscreens you’ll adore the lightweight texture of this fluid formula.
