After a nail-biting couple of weeks (luckily we’ll have some movie-inspired must-haves to get nails back to tip-top condition later this week) the votes have been counted and, drum roll please, we can finally reveal the Glosscars winners for 2009. So exciting! Big winners include L’Oreal Paris, Dermalogica and Maybelline New York, but for a full run-down of who won what, click here.
Also I suppose we should talk about the ‘other’ awards: the Oscars. Currently, our poll shows that you’re most looking forward to seeing Kate Winslet on the red carpet, if you care to disagree with the masses (or 42.3 per cent) then be sure to have your say in the forum, we do love a good debate.
I have to say, as much as I love awards season, it’s all about the hair and make-up (and of course the dress) for me. And this year the nosey parker in me simply cannot wait to see if Brad, Jen and Angie’s paths cross for the first time since the split; can you imagine the killer look the girls will be whipping out? I’m talking make-up, not daggers.
I think if it was me, the jilted wife (sorry I mean one half of the ‘amicable spilt’, pur-lease Jen, we’ve seen the on-set photos), I’d have to go for the pocket rocket Max Factor Masterpiece Glide & Define Liquid Eyeliner (nothing says I’m over you and ever-so fabulous quite like a winged eye) and finish with a racy, red lip, something like the new Bourjois Sweet Kiss in Rouge sur Mesure, my new bestie.
