As if we needed any more reason to love the leggy blonde, Gigi Hadid has just opened up about her beauty routine and revealed her top beauty buys (one of which costs an almighty £3.99, or AUD$7.70).
In an interview with HELLO! Fashion Monthly, the teen reveals her run-of-the-mill high-school experience and shares how her mum kept her feet firmly on the ground when she started modelling.
“I had a regular high school experience, which I wouldn’t change for anything,” she said. “I did modelling campaigns growing up but my mum made we wait until I was 17 to sign with an agency. It’s given me a sense of perspective… I definitely strive to be a low maintenance model.”
And low maintenance she is! Despite having recently been announced as the face of Maybelline New York, Gigi doesn’t care much for a fussy beauty regime and can’t get enough of budget-friendly beauty buys. Listing the St Ives Invigorating Apricot Facial Scrub and Garnier’s Micellar Extra-Gentle Cleansing Wipes as part of her favourite skincare arsenal, it’s clear Gigi’s pay packet hasn’t made her precious over her appearance. We’re obviously destined to become bffs.
She also admits to regularly indulging in fast-food burgers, riding the subway, and doesn’t sweat the small stuff – like missing a workout. Oh bless the metabolism of a 19 year-old.
