The NIVEA Urban Masks are a range of one minute face masks that work to regenerate skin against the effects of urban living and environmental stressors.
NIVEA 1 Minute Urban Skin Detox Mask + Purify: Formulated with white clay and magnolia extract, this mask works to exfoliate dead skin cells and purify skin. It is recommended to be used two to three times a week and members were instructed to focus on typically congested areas such as the forehead, chin and nose. Many reviewers said that they loved the deep clean feeling the mask gave their skin, and noticed a fresher, purified complexion in only one minute. A few reviewers mentioned that as a tip they like the use the mask in the shower, and that they like that the mask doesn’t change in texture, and is then very easy to wash off.
NIVEA 1 Minute Urban Skin Detox Mask + Moisturise: Green tea and hyaluronic acid intensly moisturise the skin for 72 hours while protecting and reducing the effects of urban living. Suitable for ‘normal skin’ and for daily use, reviewers were instructed to apply when their skin needed a hydration boost. A majority of members are time-poor and loved that the mask worked in only one minute. They also mentioned that it was easy to use, they liked the consistency of the formula and they felt it was very hydrating for their skin. A few members mentioned that they would like to see the product in a larger size.

“The consistency of the product is really great, it’s not too heavy that you feel like you are doing damage, yet not too light that you feel it isnt doing anything either! All you need to do is ensure your skin is cleansed, then apply the product and leave it for a minute. I did this in the shower as this was easiest to keep within normal routine. It feels really lovely on the skin when you put it and as soon as you wash it off you skin feels alive and tingly. I have been using the product for the last couple of weeks and have noticed an improvement to the feel and look of my skin, will definitely keep using!” – Elisa361

“I like quick-fix masks because I love applying them just before my makeup for a nice smooth application. This 1 minute mask is ideal because I put it on while I get my make-up ready. The product doesn’t dry on your face, so it doesn’t leave my skin dry or uncomfortable. The scent is very spa-like. It leaves my skin feeling very fresh and smooth. The texture is very lotion-like and not oily at all which means I can skip my primer. Good size for the price and easily accessible. “This mask grabbed my attention straight away. Being a busy mum I struggle to find time to do masks, so a product that claims to do it in a minute is right up my alley. Also, I trust Nivea products not to irritate my skin. The product claims to detoxify skin and intensively moisturise which I definitely found to be true. It felt like my skin had been deep cleansed and left it supple and healthy looking. The mask has green tea and hyaluronic acid which is fantastic. It felt like a much more expensive mask and I just love it. I use it in the shower and will continue to do so. It’s so easy and I’ve had great results. “Immediately after using this mask, I could visibly notice that my pores were tighter and overall my skin looked much smoother. I was really pleased with the result. It made me feel much better about my skin. I was intrigued by the magnolia extract because I hadn’t seen it on any other products before. I had a look on Nivea’s website and they explain it has a lot of skin benefits including increased skin elasticity and increasing skin cell’s resistance to external stresses. I think including this ingredient is very innovative and obviously has a clear purpose in the formula.
It is a great mask to do when you want to give your skin some lovin’ but you don’t have the time for the standard mask that you’re supposed to leave on the skin for 30 minutes or so until dry. Great mask that you can see great results with in just 1 minute.” – Grace2479
