MOROCCANOIL RESTORATIVE HAIR MASK
bh’s Liv says…
“My hair has been feeling a little dry and damaged of late. I think it’s mostly due to the heat styling and constant changes in weather. What I was really after was a hair mask that was so nourishing my hair would drink it up! What I loved most about this mask was the buttery texture. It smelled great, but the texture made my hair feel so luscious and healthy – I couldn’t wait to use it again. One thing I normally dislike about hair masks is that if you don’t use them consistently, your hair goes back to its original state, however this mask is different. The listing says that it’s formulated with proteins that penetrate deep into the hair shaft and repair the hair from within. I think that was the difference, after one use my hair felt stronger and wasn’t so easily affected by my constant heat styling. It’s like it was more powerful and able to withstand more damage. It’s transformed the look and feel of my hair and I couldn’t be happier.”
DOVE INVISIBLE DRY ANTI WHITE MARKS ANTI-PERSPIRANT DEODORANT
bh’s Sam says…
“I wear black ALOT. So you can imagine that once I heard this deodorant was tested on over 100 colours to ensure no white marks, I just had to try it. The smell of the deodorant is the classic Dove scent, very clean and almost like baby powder. But the residue is nothing like baby powder. Throughout this trial I had no problem with white marks on any of my clothes. I wore mostly black tops and one day a red top and saw no white marks on any of them. I normally don’t like spray deodorants because of the residue they leave behind, but this has made me a convert. I also didn’t realise that the Dove sprays contained one quarter moisturising cream, I originally thought that was just the roll-ons. So I’m super glad to know that my underarms are being well looked after as well as my clothes being protected from white marks.”
FOREO LUNA™ FOR SENSITIVE/NORMAL SKIN
bh’s Carli says…
“I’ll be honest. When I first saw the FOREO LUNA, I didn’t think it was a skin cleanser. It looked a little bit naughtier than that. Plus, it didn’t look like the other skin cleansers out there – no bristles, no handle. Anyway, after a bit of hesitation I tried this nifty little device and I’m happy to say I’m very pleased with the results. Admittedly it took me a few attempts to get used to holding the device so that it didn’t slip out of my hand, but once I nailed it, it felt incredibly comfortable to use. So how did it leave me skin feeling? The rubber-ish bristles felt very gentle on my skin (to the point that I wondered if it was doing anything more than my hands could do) but after a few days of use, I noticed my skin was feeling smoother and actually looked a bit more even. I also found that my skin felt hydrated for longer periods of time.”
MARY KAY GEL EYELINER
bh’s Nat says…
“I have always been afraid of using gel eyeliner; I only just got the hang of my liquid eyeliner pen, but this is amazing stuff! It glides onto your eyelids and doesn’t feel like it’s pulling your skin. It sets quickly, so you don’t have to stand there with your eyes half open while you wait. It is also very easy to blend, but I did have to act quickly before it set. It blended in a way that didn’t look messy or smudged, either. The pigmentation is wonderful; it’s a very strong black, which I love in an eyeliner. I did have to use a longer brush than the one provided as I found the brush to be a little too short and impractical. It is long wearing (one of the most important characteristics of a product to me). I could put this on my eyes in the morning and it would last until I went to bed. I did find it a little difficult to take off at night though as a result of its long lasting capabilities but a few extra wipes of my eye make-up remover and it was off. I would recommend this product to any first time gel eyeliner user as well as the experienced!”
