Eva Longoria’s Oscars Glam Was Powered Completely By L’Oréal Products

There’s nothing we love more to see than the downright stunning Eva Longoria going from, well, beautiful (and makeup-free) to gorgeously glam. Of course being a L’Oréal Paris ambassador through and through, every single beauty product that touched Eva while getting ready for the Oscars was all thanks to L’Oréal (because she’s worth it, right?). We may have gotten ahead of ourselves, though, because there actually is something we love even more than a down-to-earth Eva getting glammed up, and that’s the fact that we can shop her stunning glam essentials from our trusty Priceline.

If we hadn’t already fallen in love with Eva for being her authentic self (and teaching us how to say ‘hyaluronic’) we would fall all over again for her choice in celebrity makeup artist: the incredibly talented (and knowledgeable mature skin expert) Elan Bongiorno. Aside from being a mature skin makeup savant, Elan is the lady to give us all the backstage beauty info we’re dying to know.

We recently shared Eva’s everyday makeup, so we figured we’d check in on her red carpet ready skin and hair care routines. So, what was used to get her skin (and hair) so incredibly glossy and glowing? We’re about to find out…

Eva Longoria Skin Care

Because Eva already has such incredible skin (must be all the L’Oréal she uses), Elan chose to keep the Oscars-ready routine a little bit more simple. All while still ensuring to give her skin a hit of hydration, of course!

First up Elan used the L’Oréal, Revitalift Derm Intensives, 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($57.79 at iHerb), which gave Eva’s skin a beautiful moisture-boost and created a clean hydrated canvas for the rest of her makeup. Next up, she used the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler 2.5% Hyaluronic Acid Eye Serum ($49.99 at Priceline). The rollerball wand works the hydrating, plumping serum into the under-eyes, to ensure there are no puffy dark circles walking the red carpet. Now, you might notice the bottle in the video looks slightly different, but don’t worry this is just the Aussie version of the same eye-caring serum.

But what’s a hit of skin care without an extra little glow element? Okay, still incredibly important, but alas, glow is crucial too. So that’s why Elan used the L’Oréal True Match Lumi Glotion in shade 902 (for Eva) ($33.96 at iHerb) as part of the ‘skin’ portion of the routine.

Eva Longoria Hair Care

The man behind Eva’s incredible hair was Ken Paves, who, like Eva and Elan, loves L’Oréal. Focussing on creating healthy, glossy flawless hair, Ken made sure to protect and treat Eva’s tresses. He did this by working the L’Oréal Paris Elvive Dream Lengths Dream Lengths Frizz Killer Serum ($21.99 at Priceline) through Eva’s mane and then again once he’d added in extensions (for length). Ken made sure to note that it’s equally as important to “treat any added hair just like you do your own”. It definitely helps that this frizz-fighting spray doubles as a heat protectant as Ken created a sleek style with just an ounce of bouncy movement at the ends. And to lock it all in place and give an extra glossy hit, he used the L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Supreme Hold Hairspray ($12.49 at Priceline). We know which store we’re headed to right now…

  1. She certainly has beautiful skin and she’s so pretty too. L’Oreal Paris face creams have such a lovely fragrance too. I love the fragrance of the Age Perfect Cell Renewal Range.
