You Can Eat Aussie Brand Edible Beauty’s Skin Care Products

Kate Hudson

Ever had the overwhelming urge to eat one of your beauty products? *Cough* strawberry lip balm *cough*.

Well, as it turns out your intrusive thoughts aren’t completely unfounded.

Australian brand Edible Beauty marries the concept of ingestible, natural, herbal remedies and skin care to create a range of holistically minded beauty products.

The brand’s founder, Anna Mitsios, pursued a background in naturopathy and nutrition, after a diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes at 18 changed her life forever. As a naturopath in a Sydney fertility clinic, Anna noticed a gap in the market for safe, clean skincare options, especially for pregnant women, which inspired her to create Edible Beauty.

“My vision is for holistic beauty to become mainstream,” Anna explains. “To empower you to transform your skin and body with pure, highly efficacious wellbeing and skincare formulas and in the process assist you to reach the health and vitality you deserve.”

Edible Beauty uses food-grade ingredients (native Australian extracts, vitamins, herbs, nourishing oils, and clinically proven botanicals) to develop products that are as effective as they are pure. Anna’s deep understanding of the connection between inner health and outer beauty led the brand to expand beyond organic, 100 per cent vegan, and cruelty-free skin care to also include wellness products such as elixirs and powders, addressing collagen support, gut health, liver care, and hair strengthening.

  1. I love this concept. Natural products have been used for centuries, and you can only imagine that they would be better for you. It is always great to see clean natural options for those who don’t want to cover themselves in chemicals.
