Drew Barrymore has been hitting our screens since way back when. And while the queen of the silver screen has turned her talents toward hosting and producing, the star still has some major pearls of wisdom to be shared.
And when Drew talks beauty, we listen. She is the founder of a budget-friendly beauty brand after all! And the makeup-chair aficionado isn’t afraid to spill her beauty thoughts, sharing everything from her fave beauty products, to summer must-haves and even the beauty tool that she swears by. Which coincidently pairs perfectly with her ‘can’t live without’ skin-loving skin care ingredient.
But what is this Drew-loved skin care must have? Let’s find out…
The Skin Care Ingredient Drew Barrymore Loves
While Drew loves to utilise her own platforms to show off her beauty hits, she recently spoke to Byrdie and took the opportunity to drop all her skin care secrets.
Growing up in the makeup chair and realising the harsh impacts of beauty standards, Drew made a conscious effort to never end up a “prisoner to unrealistic beauty expectations”. In doing so, Drew chose to go down the minimalistic route. And while she always “remains diligent” about her skin care she knows that she only focuses “on the essentials”.
As she’s aged, Drew has found her skin becoming crepey (relatable). And though dehydrated skin comes with age, Drew’s solution has been to turn to “slathering on” some vitamin E whenever she “need(s) a moisture boost”.
See, what’d we tell you?! You probably already have the anti-inflammatory ingredient sitting amongst all your other skin-salvaging serums. And if not, pick up a (budget-friendly) bottle and see the hydrating results for yourself.
And while vitamin E might be her newest impactful ingredient, she credits “a giant smile” as her most-used beauty helper. Why? Because it makes her feel good. We’re taking notes here Drew.
Vitamin E skin care to shop
While we may not be able to pop out and pick up Drew’s very own fave formulation, we here at beautyheaven reckon that Drew herself would approve of these three vitamin E-packed options…
