, Dermalogica BioLumin-C Eye Serum has incorporated Dermalogica’s original BioLumin Serum to create a brightening and firming eye serum. The lightweight but powerful formula delivers Dermalogica’s ultra-stable vitamin C complex to the under eye area, brightening and assisting in diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. The jam-packed formula also includes arjun tree extract, micro-algae extract, tremella mushroom, salvia hispanica and poria mushroom for additional brightening and firming benefits.  Almost every member on the trial found the Dermalogica BioLumin-C Eye Serum left the skin around their eyes hydrated, and a clear majority said that they found the area around their eyes looked brighter after the trial. A few reviews mentioned they were pleased to find a little went a long way with the product, saying they only needed a small amount to reap the benefits. Those who used it before makeup found it worked well under concealer, drying quickly so they didn’t need to waste time in their routine. I am already a big fan of dermalogica and know that I am using quality products on my skin. Having used their previous eye products I know that this one is a definite stand out. The packaging is sleek and love the pop of orange on the nozzle which ties in with the fact that its supercharged with vitamin C. The application was very easy to apply and whilst it is a serum it absorbed so well into my skin without me having to fan my face, A big win was that I could apply my concealer straight after without having the product form little balls under my eyes. This is a really nice lightweight serum, but still find it sufficiently hydrating. However the eye serum part had me a little confused, as in do I put this on and then my regular eye cream or not. So I tried both ways for a little while. But there wasn’t much of a difference, I guess just the added benefits of the regular eye cream. But even when used alone, I find that this gradually helped with the brightness under my eyes, however it did not do much for wrinkles or puffiness. And hence when I preferred layering it with my other eye cream on days when I needed the extra loving. Dermalogica BioLumin-C Eye Serum is magic in a tube. From the first application I noticed my under eye skin area became brighter and fine lines reduced. However, this new dermalogica eye cream actually showed visible brighting of my dark under eye area, and I must say I was quite surprised. Many eye creams have strong additional ingredients that can often irritate the under eye and inflame it, leaving those lines you wanted to fix more red and visible than prior to using the product. That was not the case with this product, despite its sometimes contraversial ingredients I did not get any irritation. Tick one, this meant that I could start using it regularly enough to provide somewhat of a repeated individual control study experience After weeks of using this product regularly I saw – increased brightness – the skin looking more plump – the lines looking fuller and there for less defined A lot of the time it’s hard to see changes in your own skin since you look at it everyday, and we tend to be hyperfocussed on any little “abmormality”. So what I often go by in terms of a products visible effectiveness is the feedback from others that I do not prompt. I got a lot of feedback saying I looked healthier, brighter and even happier. I would recomend this product, ofcourse ingredients work differently on varying skin types and also don’t forget to patch test in case you react to strong acids like vitamin c.
