Stop Everything, Because Your Go-To Pharmacy Skin Care Brand Is Getting A Serious Shake-Up (The Good Kind)

Okay, sorry, we know a ‘shake-up’ sounds scary on paper, but like we said, it’s definitely the good kind in this case! Dermal Therapy (AKA undoubtedly one of your go-to pharmacy skin care brands) is making major moves over at their HQ, and our faces are going to be all the better for the changes.

Announcing skinfluencer sensation Roj Torabi (who you likely already know and love as @theroject) as their new Creative Director, the brand are ushering in a new era, where the beauty industry’s most booming voices are given voices within the beauty companies they love so dearly.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be partnering with the powerhouse that is Roj Torabi in 2024,” said Steven Sher, founder of Dermal Therapy and LaCorium Health. “As our Creative Director, Roj’s expertise and passion will undoubtedly propel us to new heights, reinforcing our commitment to delivering unparalleled innovation and affordability in the skin care industry.”

Steven wasn’t kidding about Roj’s passion for the brand, either. After being drawn to the skin care world through looking for adolescent acne solutions, she happened on the brand and never looked back, referring to it now as her “reliable bestie”.

“Dermal Therapy never fails to come through—[it’s] authentic, dependable, and trustworthy. I’m genuinely excited to take on this new role and eager to collaborate with the team to keep delivering unmatched science-driven skin care solutions” Roj shared re: her new role.

Her passion will be put into play across an array of different areas of the brand, too. Roj will work with the Dermal Therapy team on product development, provide creative direction for marketing campaigns, ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, as well as sharing the journey of an exciting brand design trip overseas. All while connecting with consumers, finding out what they’re searching for, and aiming to deliver just that while staying true to the brand’s OG identity, of course!

This dream duo is no doubt set to shake the skin care landscape up (again, in a good – no great – way), one innovation at a time. Dermal Therapy have long taken skin care solutions extremely seriously, and Roj’s presence can only see them go from strength to strength.

Speaking of strength, be sure to nab one of their clinically-proven formulations at your local leading pharmacy or grocery store. We can’t recommend their Lip Balm Original ($5.49 at Chemist Warehouse), a product which just so happens to sell a unit every 15 seconds, enough.

  1. I have tried a lot of Dermal Therapy products lately and like them all. Don’t know who Roj Torabi is though and to be honest I don’t really care. It doesn’t make me want to buy products from the brand any more than I already do and the products are good enough without an influencer. I wish we stopped giving influencers a voice completely. They spread so much misinformation in a saturated market.
