Normally when we get enquiries through, it’s bh members wanting to know when is the perfect time to apply primer or whether a blue-red or an orange-red lipstick would go best with their complexion, but every now and then we get a query that is a little out of the box.

Dear sea157, the beauty of fragrance is that it smells different on absolutely everyone! The way in which the notes interact with the acidity of our skin can affect the way the perfume develops. So although you think the notes of sweet orange, tangerine and grapefruit blossoms in Britney Spears Hidden Fantasy may seem a little young and fruity, all anyone will notice is that you smell simply edible!
Don’t be afraid to embrace your own style and preferences, Britney is one of the most successful celebrity-turned-perfumer on record, and there’s a reason she’s done so well. Her fragrances are really, really nice (her first fragrance, Curious, even grossed $14.3 million in its first year in 2004!) I myself keep a bottle of Fantasy by Britney Spears close by, you know, when I want to smell a little extra scrumptious.
