  1. Social distancing? Have Sc.D. degree in this matter xD

Nothing changed really. What do I do now vs before? Same. With some progress….mastering the skill by the minute xD

  2. Great choices listed BH Xx

Not a lot has changed for me with the changes – I have always been happy with my own company and my home has always been my oasis. I love to garden, read, walk and cook and practice my yoga.

My husband is now working from home and keeps startling me and my puppy as we don’t have on TV through the day either. I hate chatter, noise and the bad news in general.

I also remember to be so very grateful for all that I have and my beautiful family so fortunate compared to so many.

One of my sons is in New York and it is just shocking in every way there.

  3. Trying not to get stir crazy but after a tiny week it’s starting to get to me. I totally understand and would never break the rules and go out so I just have to adjust. I have so many plans and now I just have to find the time (kids are home).

    Stay safe everyone!

  4. I like to take my dog for a walk. We go most days. I guess the day will come sometime soon when we won’t we allowed to. We walked past two large playgrounds. They are usually packed with kids, but they were deserted. It was eerie. Otherwise I’m just at home doing ‘stuff’. Hubby is still at work for now, day to day proposition At this stage. I guess no one really knows what’s ahead.

  5. Great for those who need ideas! Far from it though for me – I seem busier than ever with everyone home – hubby working from home online, one daughter home from school homeschooling online (and asking me lots of questions), another daughter home doing uni course online and another daughter home just because she’s had to pick to stay and live at her job or stay at home and lose her job for the current time. So plenty here keeping me busy!!

  6. I’ve been doing more face masks. hair masks & bubble baths than usual – I’ll have to get out that box of Milky Foot!

I’ve sorted out some autumn & winter stuff to take to Vinnies. Their shops won’t be doing much business, but those in need, especially the homeless will be doing it tougher this winter due to COVID.

My doona covers are clean, but I’ve washed all the curtains. Why do I always leave it so long? I hang them back up wet & they dry hanging there. I’m catching up on housework & cleaning out drawers & junk.

I’ve been doing a lot of sewing, but I’m also wasting too much time playing online games.

    Some great ideas, Bh!

  7. I had to spend some time at the local shopping center last week while waiting for a car to be mixed at the mechanics. I saw so many people with 1000+ piece puzzles. Im now wishing I had gone and grabbed one also.

I do have hundreds….and im not joking….of books to get through so thats my focus at this point.

  8. I was unwell for a lot of 2019 so I’m used to isolation and am already over isolation already. Trying to incorporate more self care into my routine. It’s feeling a bit like ground hog day every day atm so try and give myself and kids as much of a structured routine. The sleep ins are nice and one day we will look back on this one day and hopefully appreciate all we take for granted. We all have to ride this wave, stay safe and look out for each other xx

  9. Today is my first day of not working so I’m planning on organising my kitchen cupboards but first I’m going to have a longer shower and put a face mask on and maybe a hair mask, oh and dermaplane my face lol!

  10. Some great suggestions here BH! I’ve decided that one of my goals during this social isolation period will be to try out some new recipes & get back into cooking & baking. So far I’ve tried out 2 new recipes, with varying degrees of success. (The other goal is to get back into exercise somehow; but we’ll see how I go with that!)

  11. It’ll take me a little while to work my way through that list of 100 suggestions, but I have plenty of time because I’m not going anywhere.

Hubby is driving me crazy because he’s in a cleaning frenzy. Everything has to be done now, whereas I’m quite happy to put off today what can be done tomorrow or the next day because I have plenty of things to keep me occupied.

I’ve already sorted through all my clothes and given away heaps, and I’ve started on sorting makeup and skincare products.

This morning I wrote a list of things I should really do while I have the time … just to make sure I have a focus and don’t waste time.

  12. I’m the same, need to declutter every room, drawer and cupboard. Don’t know where to start or have any room to put the things I want to get rid of. Planning on donating most things to charity. Need to see if my local lifeline is open.

  13. A handy list of ideas but perhaps the most important thing to remember throughout this time is ” at the end of the day we can endure much more than we think we can”…(Frida Kahlo)

  14. Some great suggestions, I need to declutter every room, cupboard and drawer in my unit. Not sure where to start or where to put the things I want to get rid of. Will feel better once its done though. Am doing more exercise and going for a long, fast walk every morning, can feel the benefits already. Have lots of books to read and dvd’s to watch too. Am usually never at home much so its a big adjustment for me and probably is for most people. Take care everyone..

  15. Def need to check out some more local hikes! One to a waterfall would be extra nice! Must do some home workouts too. And try not to eat soooo many snacks and ice cream! Haha
Must also go through my clothes and I also plan to do some sewing!

  16. Lol I’ve been trying to do some Marie Kondo folding. If she came to my house, I wouldn’t pass but even with my less than perfect version, my stuff is looking much neater than it was before I started tidying

  17. I notice do your own waxing isn’t there. I now know why! Out of desperation I bought an at home Sally Hansen kit. WORST hair removal experience of my life. Waste of time and money. I still look like Neanderthal lady! Dammit!!

  18. So many good ideas!

So far I’ve done the following:

    • a puzzle

    • cleaned and cleared out every single room,

    • I’ve been redecorating (decided what will go where), I’ve been jogging trying to get up to going 4 times a week

    • been having a bath and using bath bombs/bath salts, sheet masks and hair masks (really going to try and get through as many skincare/bathcare products these next few months as I can)

    • been cooking/baking nearly everyday (it’s so nice eating fresh instead of takeaway) but have been getting 1 meal of takeaway a week to support locally

    • I’ve got more puzzles/board games to play for rainy days 🙂

  19. You have done heaps! Well done !! So far I’ve done a hike and beach walks each day ! (5 mins drive from home) but I’ve been going through my wardrobe and revamping old clothes.
Unworn dresses into tops and making wrap skirts! Getting my sewing machine out a bit.

  20. Thanks! That’s a good plan, hikes/walks/runs really help to make you feel revitalised.

I definitely need to have things to do/activities while stuck mostly at home because otherwise I will get too down on this whole thing. I’m usually out and about doing things at least 2-3 times a week, so this is a totally new experience for me.
