Filler and facials aren’t exactly inaccessible in Hollywood, so a celebrity recommendation for anything that comes in a pot that we mere mortals can buy means a lot. Especially when said pot contains eye cream.
Why? Because, honestly, eye creams get a bit of a rep for being ‘useless’. But hey, if you trust the likes of Drew Barrymore, Victoria Beckham and Thandie Newton (and we definitely do), they’re far from it. Maybe you just haven’t found the right formula yet.
Luckily, the ladies of Hollywood are here to help. Here are their absolute favourites…
It's my life's mission to find a miracle eye cream and I have tried many (MANY) over the years but I have never heard of using Vaseline lip balm……. but I definitely will give it a go now!
My only concern is dark circles and I've been advised by a few of the lovely BH beauties to try Estée Lauder ANR Eye Supercharged Complex which I'll have to do.
I'm currently using the Kiehl's product – it's very good, creamy without being too heavy or thick, and it seems to moisturise well without causing puffiness.
I like how Jen Aniston keeps it super simple and affordable with Vaseline! I've tried many eye creams/serums but the one product I always seem to fall back on is Redwin Sorbolene Moisturiser with Vitamin E. Super cheap and not specifically for your face, but this cream can be used all over for multiple reasons (great for makeup removal, shaving cream, and of course general moisturising). It doesn't irritate my eyes or face at all and doesn't break me out in these areas either (I have very sensitive oily/acne-prone skin) and leaves the skin feeling well-moisturised without being greasy/oily. I love it for my hands too. Seriously give it a go if you haven't already 🙂
I’ve been using the Kiehl’s for a long time, and I would highly recommended it! It’s not the cheapest option, but it lasts for a long time, and it works. It feels beautiful to use.
I used to really like the Clinique Even Better Eyes. I don’t know why I stopped buying it. I went into my local Priceline searching for some Alya Skin eye cream yesterday, but they had run out.
I always use eye cream but must admit that I sometimes wonder if it is doing anything to help the little lines around the eye or should I just use day and night cream ?
I like Natural Instinct Dark Circle + Wrinkle Correction Eye Creme. By the end of the day apart from taking off any makeup or just washing my face I'm done.
I stopped using eye creams many years ago. I never found one that actually did what it claimed to do and I am not referring to only supermarket buys but some luxury brands also.
The only way is to see a beauty therapist who will do it carefully and hygienically, don't try and do it yourself and risk scarring Ellyloves.
Wish I could find one to help with my permanent puffy eye bags.
Same here!
I don't use eye cream often but I should
“I look more like a ghoul who came from the graveyard.”
I think Drew is looking at me when she looks in the mirror. I might have to try her go-to Clinique one.
Yikes, vaseline lip balm as eye cream? That would give me milia.
I’ll have what JLo’s having. As long as it’s in my budget of course
I need a budget friendly eye cream because I'm unable to work.
Oh gosh, Vaseline lip balm as an eye cream sounds interesting – not sure I'd try it though!

I love that shot of JA! Want to try all the Clarins eye products!
Kiehls sounds like one to try
Yes agree, but also must be nice to know that you can just buy the expensive on if you want to.
I am a bit naughty, I often forget about eye cream.
Thanks for the information.

I truly believe that skincare is a worthwhile long term investment!
might try clarins next
Interesting….
I like the idea of Vasline, its a great bidget tip, but imagine all the grease on your pillo slip and u bet this wouldn't come out either in the wash
Oh wow such a great article. Cosmedix, mm might have ti research this brand, Jens Vaseline?
Some good recommendations here, but no to the vaseline idea.
I find that Natio Ageless Brightening Eye Cream really helps stop the skin around my eyes from feeling very dry.
Wow. Jen Aniston's technique is a little different.
I'd rather use an eye cream with anti-aging ingredients in it than just vaseline.
I must admit I often forget an eye cream. I don't really see results, but that might be a vicious circle…
I've just bought the Kiehl's one so let's hope it lives up to the hype.
I would think Vaseline would 'pull' the delicate eye area

I would love to try Vaseline lip balm like Jennifer.
I don't think that I have ever seen a photo with Victoria Beckham smiling. I wonder if she smiles away from the cameras.
I used to really like the Clinique Even Better Eyes. I don’t know why I stopped buying it. I went into my local Priceline searching for some Alya Skin eye cream yesterday, but they had run out.
Don't know how confident I am in what celebs say tbh
The Kiel's seems to be quite popular. My eyes are very sensitive and really can't afford to spend big on something that won't agree with me.
I have not tried any of these. Currently using Lancôme eye cream.

I've still not found an eye cream that I really like.
I do like an eye cream rather than a gel
When she was in the Spice Girls, there are some photos.
It’s because she doesn’t like her smile so she doesn’t smile for photos.
Yes and be greasy on your pillow slips and probably wouldn't wash out
I am curious about Lancer too

The Vaseline sounds interesting
I've just finished using the Kiehl's, it's quite good. My next to use is the Estee Lauder
Night Repair one.
Some good suggestions if you are into eye creams
