They deliver serious glow
We’ve heard all about their vision-strengthening powers, but carrots could also be the secret to your glowy-skin fantasies. Carrots can even your skin’s tone by helping to fade pesky pigmentation whilst enhancing lust-worthy luminosity. It’ll basically look like you’ve turned up the brightness (but like, on your real-life face).
They help to turn back the clock
These vibrancy-imparting veggies are also heavy hitters in the anti-ageing game, as they’re rich in beta-carotena, which is broken down by your skin and made into Vitamin A, the cell regeneration superhero. Once absorbed into your complexion, it stimulates fibroblasts, the tiny cells that develop tissue to keep your face firm, working to tighten up any sagginess, fight fine lines and smooth the surface of your skin.
They protect against environmental aggressors
Carrots are amazing for complexion protection, as they contain antioxidants which possess the power to fight off the skin-damaging free radicals found in everything from the sun’s rays to polluted air. This means carrot ingredients in your skincare will help to keep your complexion clear, clean and radiant even amongst the elements.
