I don’t know about you beauties, but as much as I live, breathe and most likely eat (all that disappearing lipgloss has to be going somewhere) all things beauty, there are days when I Just. Can’t. Be. Bothered.
Seven years ago, on such days you’d probably see me heading out the door with zero make-up – or worse still, with remnants of the products I’d used night before (I know, I know, big beauty sin). But these days – call it a result of my ever-increasing beauty conscience, or a matter of vanity – no matter how lazy I feel, I just can’t forgo my beauty routines entirely.
Luckily, there are products out there to cater for every lazy beauty – letting you achieve a perfectly groomed end result, with minimal effort. Here are a few of my faves:
L’Oreal Paris Perfect Clean is the…well…perfect alternative when you’re too tired to cleanse and then exfoliate. Complete with a special cleansing disc with 500 soft flexible tips, it massages, stimulates and deep cleanses your skin all in one simple step. Great for those overly late nights and too-early mornings.
Manicare Glamnails Nail Enamel Strips are the lazy beauty’s answer to perfectly painted nails. You simply peel off the strip of (already dried!) nail polish from the backing paper, smooth it on to your nail bed, and file away any excess at the top. And hey presto, your nails look meticulously manicured – all in about five minutes flat!
Youngblood High-Definition Mineral Powder is a lifesaver when you don’t feel like putting on make-up, but you still want to sport smooth-looking skin. It locks in moisture, absorbs any excess oil and expertly minimises any imperfections. Brilliant for on-the-go touch-ups as well.
What do you get really lazy about doing?
