Camping cosmetics crisis

Camping cosmetics crisis

In just a few days I’m going camping with my friends. Like camping camping. Like outdoors, sleeping-in-a-tent, no-electricity, camping. And I have never been more frightened in my life.

What kinda freaks me out is that, logistically, make-up and other such beauty products just aren’t going to happen for three whole days. And between us beauties, showering looks like it may be hard task too.

So I’ve started a list of my camping must-haves – cosmetics-wise of course!

First up is Dettol Instant Hand Sanitizer Refresh. I’m in no way a germaphobe or obsessive about hygiene, but the fact that the sanitiser kills 99.99 percent of germs without any soap or water makes me feel a whole lot better about my stint outdoors.

Next is WOTNOT Biodegradable Travel Wipes. They’re not only great for refreshing the skin, but are also ideal for cleansing (hello, substitute shower!).  Even better, they come in a re-sealable box so the wipes won’t dry out before I head back to civilisation.

Last on my list has more to do with vanity than cleanliness. I’m not sure if I can go that long being completely make-up free, so NIVEA Visage Young Be Beautiful! Tinted Moisturiser is the perfect alternative. I have to moisturise anyway, so why not do it with a moisturiser that not only nourishes without clogging pores, but also leaves my complexion looking a little bit better too?

What would be your camping must-haves?
