Fifty females aged 18 to 34 with normal to combination skin, who were concerned about preventing early signs of skin ageing.The triallers were instructed to use Burt’s Bees Skin Nourishment SPF 15 Day Lotion every morning, 15 minutes before sun exposure. They were advised to apply it to the face and neck after cleansing and applying facial oil, taking care to avoid the delicate eye area.

Burt’s Bees Skin Nourishment SPF 15 Day Lotion is a moisturising facial lotion that works to provide natural protection against the sun’s harmful rays and improve the skin’s moisture barrier, for a nourished, healthy complexion. Formulated to be lightweight, non-oily and non-comedogenic, the lotion also contains nutrient-rich royal jelly to instantly hydrate and enhance the skin’s radiance, and moisturise all day.
The triallers found the packaging of the product both attractive and convenient, saying that the glass bottle gave it a high-end feel, and that the pump dispenser made it easy to apply just the right amount of lotion. While most triallers found the formula lightweight and fast-absorbing, some found it took slightly longer to absorb than they would have liked. The majority of triallers enjoyed the light scent of the formula, and the fact that it tended to fade away quickly after it was applied.
Many triallers said that they appreciated that the product contained SPF, with several saying they enjoyed the fact that they didn’t need to apply a separate sunscreen. While some felt that the SPF ingredient led to the product leaving a white-ish film or residue on their skin, the majority found that this faded once the product had fully absorbed. Many triallers found that the day lotion provided a good base for their makeup, and the majority felt their skin stayed noticeably hydrated all day after using it.

I do find that it needs to be rubbed in well to avoid any white streaks on my face and neck (like a sunscreen).
